What a great location and excellent hotel. + Fantastic location and very happy with the room. A special mention to My Lee who always looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. Booking our tours through My Lee was also so easy! Hotel is located in a quiet alley just off the hustle and bustle. So close to all the food and bars of Beer Street (Ta Hien) − Nothing. Everything was great for the price point.

A rat! Not recommended. + The location of La beaute, is excellent for exploring Hanoi. The room was a good size with a small balcony. − On the second day of our stay, we were leaving or room on the second floor and a rat was outside our room on the landing. We reported it immediately to reception to met with giggles/laughter from the two girls behind reception! On the days following one of the girls asked us to cancel our booking with booking.com in return for a taxi ride to the airport. We didn’t! Apart from that the rooms are dated , mattress hard and shower/bath difficult to get in and out of. Breakfast limited and street noise in room.

Hanoi Start + The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. − The balcony was very small and faced a building about 2 metres away.

An old hotel but worth staying due to nice management! + Location of hotel in Hanoi Old Town. Staff was very good, especially Ms. My Lee, the customer relation manager. She was very caring, attentive, & had excellent manner. I had stayed here a few times before & she was the reason why I would like to come back to this hotel. Others such as Ms. Quỳnh, front desk receptionist, was very helpful & caring too. − The hotel was old & needs lots of renovations. I stayed at thr executive room in the 7th floor, which was supposed to be the best room of hotel. However, A/c system was not consistent. There were times the room was very cold, but at night it was hot no matter how much temperature I set up. Or the hand-held shower was rusty (could be replaced easily). I had a hard time trying to get the desirable temperature of water (water was either too cold or too hot to the point that I was afraid I might be burnt!
