Luxurious holiday experience in Mora + From check-in to checking out it was so seamless. Mora talks about luxury, and I finally got to experience luxury vacation. The different types of dining, their staff friendliness, the drinks, the activities for every evening. The staff Ubuntu is something that stood out for me. The bars, the pools and beache in the Resort is something to ride home with. I will definitely bring my family next year − Their cocktails & the cocktails presentation, it doesn't match Mora standard

Would definitely return but they really need to include standard cocktails in the price and make the restaurants more av + Amazing Hotel − Had to pay for margaritas and couldn’t book the specialty restaurants as the available slots was very poor.

It was just fair + The proximity to Mnemba Island − For all the money spent to stay here, it was literally Tuna that was being served as the only fish everyday for the 5days that I stayed there. It was so disappointing. Fish is meant to be tender but this was grilled/fried and it felt like was eating chicken or turkey. Too tough. It would be nice to have more fish variety for fish lovers. I spent 5days not eating any protein cos the tuna was too tough

The people were friendly and the place was beautiful with the most delicious food + The people were warm and friendly and the facilities are lovely. The food was lovely and everything was fresh and flavorful − Would be great to get clearer understanding of what beach activities are complimentary. Many resorts offer SUP and Kayaking and it was only kayaking on one of the days.

Nice hotel with very mediocre service. + It is a hotel with numerous amenities and options. There was a great variety at the buffet, there were themed days, several restaurants, and the rooms were cleaned twice a day. It has two amazing pools and plenty of choices for food and cocktails. − The reason I am giving a 7 is that the staff and service should reflect the hotel's star rating. Communication was incredibly difficult. Even though there is only a 1-hour time difference with Greece, replies were received extremely late. We had already informed them the night before that our flight would be delayed and asked them to notify the driver they had arranged to pick us up not to wait. That never happened, and not only did it not happen, but the driver actually told us off for not letting them know. Furthermore, room service was literally non-existent. The one time they changed the towels, they didn't leave us bath towels; I kept calling to let them know, and they kept telling me the cl…

Wonderful stay + We had a great stay at Mora Hotel in Matemwe, in a beautiful location overlooking Mnemba island. The resort is built like a village, so you don't really leave the property during your stay, but it doesn't feel limiting: there are 3-4 restaurants, all great quality, so you're not eating the same food every day. The buffet at the main restaurant is generous but well-curated, not overwhelming, and changes daily. The room is very large and comfortable, with a coffee machine — a nice touch. And how can I forget the amazing "free" ice cream shop, which has different flavors morning and afternoon!! On the beach, staff actively come around to take orders and deliver them, even from a walk away from the bar, so you never feel left out or have to leave your spot. The resort also makes a real effort to keep guests entertained — we loved catching a local fashion show during our stay. − The property needs to better manage the pool and beach beds — too many guests leave their t…
