Highly recommend + The most amazing unforgettable experience! I wish we could stay longer. The view is breathtaking, rooms are impeccable cleaned, the beds are the best. Every details were carefully selected for the comfort of the guest. I love having alpaca throws available. The garden is so well taking care of and full of flowers, avocado and fig trees. The resort is located close to Ollaytantamba and the shuttle service was very convenient. They organized laundry service for us and it was absolutely needed and appreciated. Hope to return one day.

Relaxing and beautiful tent lodges + Beautiful campus, helpful and attentive staff, wonderful food. Staff helped us coordinate transportation. Book spa and hot tub ahead of arrival because it books up quickly and unlikely to be available if you wait until you arrive. Recommend.

+ The property is a stunning place located approximately ten minutes from downtown, with convenient access provided by the hotel's complimentary shuttle service. During our stay, we traveled with a group of seven, including four children. Each morning began wonderfully with the complimentary breakfast served in the aesthetically pleasing restaurant and surrounding area. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not what I was expecting... + For transparency, I am keeping the original review up below. I am currently staying at this hotel, which started off a bit rocky—mainly due to miscommunication while trying to arrange transportation from Cusco. Combined with the change in altitude, heavy traffic, and a later-than-expected arrival, it didn’t leave the best first impression. That said, I was genuinely impressed by how the management noticed my dissatisfaction, took the time to speak with me, and did what they could to make things right. It’s clear they take great pride in their eco-resort. The property itself is stunning and tranquil, with the soothing sound of the river right outside the cabin. In hindsight, I realize I should have done more research on the nature of this resort. It probably wasn’t the most suitable choice for my 74-year-old father, who has some mobility issues and mild medical needs. Still, I think the peaceful surroundings will do him good—giving him a chance to rest, …

+ What an amazing experience it was staying here. I truly felt at home. The “tents” are incredible, comfortable beds, endless hot water, fireplace, and fast internet. I loved opening up all the windows, the fresh air was great. The food was great, many different items to choose from and multiple different areas to eat (main dining area / bar top) I enjoyed not having to pay each time I ate, just having it put on my tab was way easier. The shuttle service was very convenient and on time. I was dropped off/picked up from the train station promptly for time ticket time and also I was picked up/dropped off in town whenever I wanted for no extra cost! They also arranged my pick up from the airport (for an extra cost) This shuttle service is great because you can enjoy the quiet atmosphere outside of the town but can also come and go to the town as you please. At the end of the day it was the staff that made my trip. Words cannot describe how amazing the people here are, thank you …

Stunning setting + The setting is stunning and so peaceful. Tents are comfortable and the shuttle service into town is a great addition. Food here was also great, special shout out to Miguel WiFi was the only let down.

Perfect Stay at Las Qolqas + We stayed at Las Qolqas as our first stop after the four day Inka trail trek, and it was perfect! Hot showers, comfortable bed, and warm staff welcomed us! The farm to table food was amazing for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also used their free shuttle service to go into town which was easy to organize. The spa was intimate and amazing, providing a private service! The team at Las Qolqas were highly communicative before our arrival making it easy for us. They also coordinated directly with the trek company to accept our bags prior to our arrival.

+ Quiet little piece of paradise, the views of the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cabins were beautiful and I loved being able to have a fire at night in the wood burning stove. Food was delicious & I enjoyed my morning cappuccino while enjoying the views. Ollantaytambo was a quaint little town, I explored the ruins & the town. I felt very safe and relaxed, and enjoyed my walk from Ollantaytambo to the resort. I had the Inca Detox spa treatment, it was a lovely way to end my day. The spa was very cute. Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing visit.

Perfect stay near Ollantaytambo + Perfect, beautiful, quiet resort just outside of Ollantaytambo. Very functional rooms with comfortable beds, cozy fireplace, roomy closet and nice shower with rain showerhead. Loved the porch as well! The staff, particularly in the restaurant, were super friendly. Breakfast is awesome, as is all of the food! There is a daily special every evening. Nice bar and common seating area. I booked guides through the hotel to see Maras/Moray one day and the Ollantaytambo archeological site one day. The guide was great. The walk into town along the river is lovely, or take the shuttle. Overall, a lovely stay.

An Oasis close to everything + This eco lodge was an oasis just outside the dusty, busy town of Ollantaytambo. It is close enough for you to experience the town & surrounds. A short train trip to Machu Picchu, but a peaceful oasis when you return The rooms are large & comfortable. We had no issue with hot water and all the staff were very attentive. The breakfast & dinner was excellent. I can highly recommend

Meh… + Beautiful location but very corporate feel. My group (13ppl) stayed there 3 days which was way too long. There isn’t much to do except getting massage and drink $6 cup of coffee (yes 6USD). Food was pretentious, trying to pass for high end but considering how disorganized the service was, and how long it takes the get food, you know it’s not high end running kitchen. They would be better off to serve simple, local food family style. We were the only permanent group there for those few days. I can’t imagine how the kitchen would survive if the entire dining hall would be full. Not the worst place, but $400 a night you can definitely skip it without missing anything significant.

An end in itself, to rival Machu Picchu. + Loved this part of my Next Tribe experience the most- and wish I could have spent more time and used my time here to explore the history and significance of Ollantaytamo and surrounding archeological sites. I assumed before the trip that the sites around this eco-lodge were minor compared with Machu Picchu, but arguably they are just as significant and interesting, if not more, and more accessible! I wish I had gotten a tour of the eco-lodge and everything you are doing there for the benefit of the environment and the people of Peru. Would go back in a heartbeat!
