Memorable + Our stay was enjoyable, but what stood out the most was the quality of the food. From breakfast to dinner, every dish was well prepared and you could really notice the attention to detail in every ingredient. The dinners were simply magnificent. They also have a very knowledgeable sommelier who does a wonderful job recommending the perfect wine to pair with each meal.

Spanish class + We took a Spanish class with Dayana at Blue Diamond resort and had a great time. She helped me correct some inconsistencies in my Spanish that I had been working on for months. What a delight!

Not great. Too many things wrong + My first full day here and not happy. First of all no hot water. They said they came to fix last night but again no hot water. That pretty much is a non-starter for me in any hotel. Also the pools are cold. Lots of seaweed on the beach. They also say you have bikes but they dont have bike racks to get them. You just have to “find” them around the property. The people are friendly but too many things here that just very sub par.

There’s definitely an emphasis on health and wellness with the yoga classes and sauna. I will definitely be coming back.

Just a really nice place to disconnect + We had such a great time at this hotel. The facilities are beautiful and well kept, everything feels super relaxing. The food was honestly one of the highlights, so many good options and everything tasted amazing. The service was always friendly and attentive without being too much. We also tried the spa and the massages were incredible, exactly what we needed to fully unwind. Snorkeling was another favorite, really fun and worth it.

The good and the bad.... + We stayed in a Junior Suite from March 18-28th. We have been to a number of other resorts in Mexico over the years and I would definitely say this was our best experience yet. No place is perfect but I will break down our experience and observations by category. Food – Blue Diamond has this nailed. By far the best food experience ever! 5 star dining three meals a day if you want it. There is no buffet and no reservations needed to any of the three restaurants. Breakfast is served only at the Aguamarina restaurant each day. Fantastic healthy juice and smoothie offerings, and a wide array of breakfast options that would satisfy anyone. They also bake their own bread and pastries and so each breakfast starts with something warm out of the oven that day like chocolate filled croissants. For lunch you can have another fine dining experience at Aguamarina with options like sushi or gourmet tacos or enjoy simpler options at Ceviche Bar at beach level. For…

Natural beauty + The place is truly beautiful, surrounded by incredible natural scenery that makes the whole experience feel special. What really stands out though is the warmth of the staff, they make a huge difference and elevate the entire stay. The food is also very good, and even with just two restaurants, there’s a surprisingly nice variety. The only downsides were that the property feels a bit worn in some areas, and the beach wasn’t quite what we expected but of course, that’s just nature.

World Class Temazcal Ceremony + The Temazcal ceremony at the Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel with Dyana, is a must do experience. My wife and I did it and we are so grateful to have been able to experience this very powerful and spiritual experience in a jungle like setting. Dyana, is the host that took us through a four part guided meditation utilizing the four elements of water, fire, Earth, and air and though sitting in the high heat was somewhat challenging I received a beautiful cleansing, immense healing, and great clarity. It was well worth the price. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

Avoid if you want to stay alive + We had a terrible incident during our stay. One of my traveling friends was intoxicated due to a gas leak in her bedroom. I found her unconscious after I managed to get her door open. She almost didn’t make it out of Mexico alive. She was hospitalized for a week and remained unconscious for nearly two full days. This was an incredibly stressful experience. The hotel was not well maintained. The hot water was inconsistent, which may have been linked to poor maintenance of the gas system used to heat the water tank. Avoid this place at all costs.

Beautiful and relaxing spa like resort surrounded by nature + We loved our stay at this beautiful resort! It’s very peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by nature and just a short walk to the ocean from most of the room. The food is healthy and delicious with rotating menus for variety in the evening. The staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. There are included activities like snorkeling and yoga as well as an on site concierge if you want something special. The rooms are spacious, modern and offer plenty of natural light. I would love to return!

Book the blue diamond resort! + Blue diamond is the most gorgeous resort in the Riviera Maya. All of the staff were very helpful, understanding our English and us attempting tospeak the native language. Being senior travelers, the entire staff helped us with any problem we may have encountered. If possible, we will definitely return here, as I said before, the weight staff accommodated our every want and need.

Amazing relaxation and a breath of beautiful Mexican nature! + They have shows at dinner that are amazing and unique. The staff is phenomenal and respectful. It’s like you are in your own little town with how it is laid out. Many cool spots to explore and relax. Great food and drinks!
