Quiet and peaceful + We stayed at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya for a quick getaway and had a really enjoyable, relaxing trip. One of the biggest reasons we chose this resort was because of the gluten-free accommodations, and they did a great job. While the gluten-free options were somewhat limited, the staff was knowledgeable, the waiters were well-informed about what was safe to eat, and they took dietary restrictions seriously. Most importantly, I did not get sick during our stay, which made the vacation much less stressful. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and has a peaceful atmosphere. The pool was nice, but get there early or you won't get a chair. The only downside was the entertainment. If you're looking for a lively resort with lots of activities, this may not be the best fit, as the entertainment was nearly nonexistent. Wonderful Anniversary Trip + We had an amazing stay at Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya celebrating our anniversary! We stayed in a Club Level pool-view swim-up suite, and the service truly made this resort stand out. Our butler, Cristian, was exceptional. He made all of our dinner reservations as soon as we arrived, kept us stocked with bottles of my favorite wine, and even surprised us by decorating our room for our anniversary. His attention to detail made our stay feel so special. The food was excellent, with the Italian restaurant and sushi being our favorites. We never had trouble getting dinner reservations when we booked them upon arrival. The drinks were fantastic, especially in the Club Lounge where they served top-shelf liquor. Great Time at the Hyatt Zilara with great staff + The following staff members made our trip truly special, and we would like to recognize them for their outstanding service: Alejandria (Food Staff Manager) – Alejandria always greeted us with a warm smile and the utmost professionalism. She consistently checked on us during our meals, asking how everything was and how our day had been. Her genuine care made every dining experience even more enjoyable. Edgar (Entertainment) – Edgar was incredibly helpful, energetic, and fun to be around. Good resort overall, just be ready to be hounded by a sales pitch while checking in + We loved the resort overall. Its smaller and more quiet which lead to more relaxation. PROS The pool was amazing and clean, we spent most of the time there. The bartenders and service work really hard to make sure you're taken care of. We rented a Cabana one day to stay out of the sun and also loved that, Carlos was the best host and a great man. Zen spa is its own little paradise right outside of the resort, we went 2 days in a row for hydrotherapy. The room was clean and we loved our swim out pool. The food was well above average, sushi was our favorite of all the meals but we liked everything we tried. The STAFF members are wonderful, the are all so friendly and attentive. The beach if very nice even though we couldn't swim due to the seaweed issue in the area. Dream Wedding- Perfection all week’ + We held our destination wedding in June 2026 with 40 of our closest friends and family. The wedding resort selection started in November 2024 and ever since that day, we knew we would be well taken care of at the Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya. This resort knows not only hospitality, but makes you feel like family. The process was very streamlined and easy to follow thanks to the communication from the wedding sales office. From initial introductions to the end of the reception, they were 100% hands on and making sure we were fully satisfied with everything. Wedding Coordinators: Monserrath was our main contact and I couldn’t have been more pleased with her throughout this process. She was always available and answered all our questions thoroughly. Não voltaria me hospedar porque não tem nada do que vendem (não é tudo incluído, não tem praia, proteção acústica fraca) + Cama confortável − O restaurante principal (o comedor) nunca estava aberto, os pedidos eram só a carta, o que foge do conceito contratado, pagamos para ter tudo incluído e não existia um buffet para servir, e a comida que tinha nos restaurantes a carta nem sempre era boa. Falso tudo incluído, outra coisa, beira da praia, mas o sargaço tampava a praia toda. Pagámos por ser na praia e tudo incluído, não usufruímos nada disso! Além do mais tinha um casal gritando ao lado, mesmo que nós tenhamos ligado na recepção e efetuamos reclamações os funcionários não resolveram, no meio da noite tivemos que ir até lá pessoalmente, então nós fomos trocamos de quarto. Mexico 2026 + We went with a group of friends, there was 10 of us. We had a fabulous time. The food was amazing. The staff was wonderful and the atmosphere wasn’t pleasant at first but that was due to the overwhelming amount of seaweed on the beach but it was all cleaned up by the 3rd day then everything was awesome. Drinks kept flowing and food kept coming so it was great.

Luxurious Riviera Maya + I just returned from Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya and it was an amazing time. As a Globalist member, the team really went out of their way to make my experience special. The room, food, and especially service were all top notch. I’d like to call out Lourdes in general management, my butler Fernanda, and cabana bartender Carlos for being truly exceptional. I plan to revisit the resort very soon!

+ Pool was great, food was great as well − There were some maintenance issues with the rooms and we had to be moved twice, first was an electrical hazard shorting the power, and next room had broken Air conditioning, but we were quickly relocated and the staff was very friendly

Viaje en grupo a Playa del Carmen + Las comidas en general estan muy bien, el desayuno es bastante variado y hay opciones para todos. Viajamos con una persona con restricciones y siempre habia opciones para ella. La comida nos pareció muy buena en las diferentes opciones. Es un hotel bastante tranquilo, ideal para descansar, no hay muchas actividades de fiesta, la playa en la semana en que fuimos no tenia zargazo, hacian el trabajo de limpieza diario asi que pudimos estar en la playa sin problema. Hay varias opciones de restaurantes y aunque se nos dificultó reservar por el app (eramos un grupo de 9) el concierge nos ayudó con las solicitudes de reserva cada noche. El personal fue muy amable y dispuesto todo el tiempo. − No hay cajero para retirar en pesos mexicanos, solo USD No ofrecen servicio de shuttle directo desde y hacia el aeropuerto Aunque los restaurantes son muy buenos, creo que podrian mejorar un poco en la presentación del menú. Disappointing + We like the swiming pool and the food − We were very disappointed. First, that we paid for one room for 4 for the price of two rooms and received a double room, as two couples traveling with us received, and for half the price. They did not agree to change even though the hotel was far from full. The fan in the room was noisy and they came twice to fix it, the air conditioner was weak, the room was full of mosquitoes. And the last two nights there was no hot water in the shower due to a fault in the building. Big disappointment!!
