Ook uit koelkast en kasten waar personeel juist van had gezegd spullen daar op te bergen. Maar toch ook grappige ervaring en horend bij natuurverblijf. Boomhut avontuur! + Echte heel originele format met slapen in de open boomhut onder de klambu. Ook het spotten van de Lori aapjes in het donker is een hoogtepunt. Slapen en eten in de natuur met toch het nodige comfort.

In nature! + It REALLY is in the jungle! With the wildlife and insects. Rooms are all ground level not raised (in a tree as my friend who booked thought). − It is very remote so you need a driver or arranged trips and likely to eat there too.

Beleving om hier te overnachten. + Het is een beleving om middenin de natuur te slapen in een open hut met apen, kikkers en andere dieren om je heen. De apen hadden ons eten gestolen en zijn brutaal dus berg je spullen goed op! − Ik vond de prijs - kwaliteit niet helemaal in verhouding. Je betaalt vrij veel voor de accommodatie en dat mag je dan wel ergens in terug zien. De accommodatie is echt heel basic met dito ontbijt en diner. Je hebt weinig keuze in wat je kunt eten.

A contatto con la natura + La posizione e la location in generale è davvero bella, un’esperienza da fare. Personale molto gentile, possibilità di fare escursioni direttamente da lì come la passeggiata notturna alla ricerca de Loris che consiglio! Noi abbiamo soggiornato nello chalet: molto basic, letto comodo, zanzariere alle finestre e sul letto, bagno aperto :) Il giudizio va contestualizzato: non vi aspettate un resort a 5 stelle. Si è in contatto con la natura in tutti in sensi e con gli animali che la popolano.

Bijzondere ervaring + Geweldige ervaring in een tree-house in de jungle. Geweldig personeel, heerlijk eten. Je moet van alle geluiden om je houden, maar wij zijn heerlijk in slaap gevallen.

Leuke ervaring & lekker eten! + Mooi aangelegd allemaal en onze meiden vonden de boomhut ervaring heel erg leuk! Het is op loopafstand van de Pidurangala rock, top locatie. Het personeel heel vriendelijk en een super ontbijt! − We hadden iets meer een jungle ervaring verwacht, de boomhutten liggen dichtbij de weg en dichtbij elkaar; het voelt meer alsof je in een stukje bos slaapt.

Experience with a monkey twist + We had a good welcome. Nadan helped with everything. Luggage, breakfast and arranging a tuk tuk. We hope the owner gives him increase of salary becausr he works very hard!!! For 2nd night beds were made and we did not ask, we really appreciated that. Breakfast was nice. It is a nice experience but be aware of your belongings! − We would like, that the accomofation informed guests upfront how to deal with their luggage better. Since the monkeys opened our back packs and took stuff out. I would recommend that guests who bring food they can put it in a fridge which is at reception. Also about payment was not really clear they charged one night a month earlier and one end of the stay. Bit confusing and also not informing about it.

+ Location unica nel mezzo della giungla, senza pareti tra la camera e la natura. Personale sorridente e gentilissimo. Siamo andati a cercare i lori gracile la prima sera ( e li abbiamo trovati), visitato la rocca di Sigirya all' alba e fatto il safari a Minnerya nel pomeriggio . Tutto organizzato grazie al loro aiuto. Check out tardivo senza maggiorazione perché avevano le camera libera. Assolutamente consigliato!

Loved the Treehouse experience + Loved our treehouse!! The beds were lovely and comfy with good nets and a big cupboard you could lock things that monkeys may want to check out, but at our stay they didn’t make an entrance. The bathroom at the bottom was also lovely and very tastefully decorated in a natural setting. We had hot water and good water pressure. The staff were friendly and the breakfast omlette was very tasty as were the pancakes. The dinner was also tasty just not enough. We asked if they had more but it looked like there wasn’t more as they seemed to not hear the request. The first night my husband had only 3 prawns for his prawn curry. We did the Loris Tour and enjoyed it and did see some, what funny looking creatures! − If you want forest idyllic this then this is not the place and I would go their sister place. This is close to the road noise as goes direct to Pidurangala Rock and a village that seemed to be partying during a festival period when we were there and th…

A very special place to enjoy the Pidurangala rock, nature, and wildlife + This is one of the best places I have stayed at in Asia. It is within walking distance (7 minutes) from Pidurangala rock. My family and I have rented a treehouse and a bungalow. Both are very comfortable with good beds (including mosquito nets), a mini fridge and an open-air bathroom. The treehouse was a wonderful experience because the area teems with wildlife. In the early morning, we could hear the birds start singing nearby. One night (at 3 am), a small group of elephants passed by our treehouse. There were also a porcupine, a calling Brown Wood Owl, several mouse deer (chevrotain) and slender loris in the area. The staff was very helpful and flexible. They arranged a gorgeous birthday diner for me and my family. The staff naturalist was well-informed and helped us find suitable excursions to see wildlife. I highly recommend Back of Beyond - Jungle Hideaway, Pidurangala to couples and families with children.
