This is a resort you must stay at, fabulous + Amazing resort, on the beach with fantastic facilities with rooms. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and could accommodate a later checkout to help our departing flight. − Nothing.

Heel erg goed verblijf, maar het eten en de spa was iets minder! + Het was een heel erg goed hotel, heel mooie kamer, goede hygiëne, een jacuzzi bad in de kamer dat was ook wel heel fijn! − Het hotel was echt heel erg duur, de prijs van de kamer viel opzich mee, maar het eten in het hotel was duurder dan in België, zeker omdat er overal staat dat er nog ‘taxes and services’ bijkomen, wat in dit hotel 30% extra berekende… Wij hebben ook massages genomen, wat opzich wel heel duur was voor in Sri Lanka, maar dat wisten we op voorhand. De massages vielen echt wel tegen, wij hadden een couples retreat gedaan, wat 2,5u zou duren (een back massage, een facial en een romantisch melkbad). Bij de back massage en de facial waren onze masseurs constant aan het communiceren met elkaar waardoor we niet echt het gevoel hadden dat ze met ons bezig waren. Bij de facial verwachtte we wel scrubs etc, maar zeker ook een gezicht massage, maar dit was niet het geval. Het waren enkel scrubs en crèmes die …

Impressive hotel with lovely ambience + From the moment you arrive you know you have arrived somewhere special with the big fortress doors and bell! The hotel has a lovely ambience. We had lovely rooms, great food in the restaurant and lovely attentive service. One of our holiday highights was watching the turtles on the sea and over the rocks. Beautiful pool to swim in. Also in close proximity to the fisherman although this doesn't seem natural anymore and all commercial for money. Would highly recommend this hotel. − On arrival despite booking for 2 adults and 2 children (ages 12 and 5) we were told that we were lucky as they were allowing our 6 year old to stay for free. When we pointed out she was still 5 and free under their child policy the woman was insistent she was 6 and I felt like I was lying so I got her passport out to show them and she still kept saying she was 6! But they would turn a blind eye! This was frustrating! We also had an additional 20,000 rupees accident…

Peaceful retreat near the beach + The beach access and Jacuzzi pool is amazing 🤩 had a relax vacation . During our stay we enjoyed walking around pool and view of the sea. Great location to go around Ahangama , Mirissa. Food is good too lot of options however it’s bit pricey. Night view of the beach is too good. Worth staying − As it was off season around End of August it was little boring and restaurants near by was empty, The rooms were moist and kind of smelly maybe due to the beach side property.
