Oncomfortabel, maar wel een unieke plek aan The Green Cathedral! + De gastvrouw van Retro Kampot Guesthouse is super lief en vriendelijk. Bij aankomst kregen we fruit, water en koekjes. Helaas hebben we ons verblijf bij Retro Kampot Guesthouse eerder afgebroken (2 van de 3 nachten), vanwege het feit dat we een veel te hard en oncomfortabel bed hadden. Tevens was er geen airconditioning, waardoor het ook nog eens heel heet was (‘s nachts). Wij verbleven op dit plekje in augustus (regenseizoen) en hadden te veel last van alle muggen en stekende insecten. Hier werd niet veel aangedaan helaas. De klamboe die boven het vreselijke bed hing, werkte niet omdat er teveel gaten in zaten. Comfortabel was het niet, maar de plek opzich is uniek (zo aan de rivier). We mochten ook gebruik maken van de Kajaks en hebben een dagje de scooter gehuurd voor minder dan 5 doller om naar Bokor te gaan! − Het bed, geen airco en in het regenseizoen de vele stekende insecten.

You won’t regret staying here. + Beautiful location, great food and the staff was really kind. They have a precious orange cat who greeted us every morning and stayed with us during the evening. − There’s no airconditioning so it was a bit hot in the room but still doable.

Perfect location, relaxing and welcoming + Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. One night stay was not long enough. Lovely welcoming family, quiet location, free kayak use, great food! I was in the apartment with A/c. Lovely areas with hammocks and comfy chairs to relax. Easy to order grab tuk tuks to and from town. Great service. Felt safe, relaxed and well looked after. − Nothing. It was perfect! Thank you

+ Merci pour le super accueil ! La guesthouse est vraiment très chaleureuse, les chambres sont confortables et fonctionnelles (avec ventilateurs et moustiquaires), la terrasse commune est super pour manger les délicieux plats proposés ou lire dans un hamac. Les kayaks à libre disposition pour la green loop sont très appréciables et il est possible de les utiliser du lever au coucher du soleil. Le lieu est très calme mais on rejoint kampot en quelques minutes en moto (que l’on peut louer sur place) Encore merci à tout le personnel pour ce séjour très ressourçant !

Une adresse à ne pas louper! + Guesthouse exceptionnelle. Monika est aux petits soins pour vous organiser toutes sortes d’activités. Les repas sont de qualité. Le personnel est très gentil. Les bungalows au bord de la rivière offrent un super cadre.

Un hôtel de charme + Excellemment établissement, l’hôte est exceptionnel. Elle nous met tout de suite à l’aise, endroit extrement chaleureux, au calme, plein de charme. Kayaks gratuit disponible, excellent restaurant avec plat tout fait maison, petit déjeuner au rendez vous avec crêpe digne de ce nom. Possibilité de louer des scooter pour un prix très raisonnable. Les chambres sont jolies, charmantes, on se sent vraiment chez soi. − Rien ! Tout était vraiment exceptionnel

+ Le personnel est adorable, très attentionnée avec beaucoup de gentillesse. La guesthouse est située en pleine cathédrale verte. Le tour en en canoë au coucher du soleil est juste incroyable Tout est conforme a la description. Une expérience idéale pour un mode routard .
