Great location, but not sure I would stay there again. + The Hotel staff is wonderful and helpful. The rooms were ok. First room we got (which was supposed to have a river view, was literally just a window that you had to be on your tippy toes to be able to see) and super small (said large room) bathroom was super small as well. We asked to be moved to a different room that was bigger with no view and they kindly did. We were spending a week there so the smaller room would have been super uncomfortable. The amenities in the room compared to St Regis Rome are not so great. Coming from the St Regis Rome we expected about the same but I guess different locations different things. The bed is the reason why I’m giving it a 3 star review, this bed was so uncomfortable and bad, lots of “bumps” like the coils were all over the place. Definitely the mattress needs replacing, I ended up with a really back neck and shoulder pain from it. Overall it’s a great hotel , classic with an excellent l…

Exceptional Service and a Truly Spectacular Stay + We had a spectacular experience at the The St. Regis Florence—truly exceptional across the board. The staff was phenomenal—attentive, professional, and consistently going above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless throughout our stay. The room was beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the location right on the Arno is hard to beat. What really set this stay apart was the level of service. Due to a half marathon, much of the city center was closed, and without hesitation, the concierge personally walked our bags several blocks to meet our driver. That level of care and commitment is rare and made a lasting impression. An outstanding experience from start to finish—highly recommended.

The St Regis is surely one of the, if not, THE, nicest hotels in Florence. I hope to go back. + THE ST REGIS IS AMAZING!!!! The staff was phenomenal. The property is gorgeous. Our room was huge and exquisite. We had wonderful breakfasts every morning and ate and drank in the main bar on more than a couple of nights. It was an exceptional experience. I HIGHLY recommend it. − We found a pretty good rate. But, it is pricey.

The Concierge Team + We had an exceptional experience - the care we received throughout our stay was truly exceptional. The entire concierge team, including Francesco, Matteo, and Andrea, was warm, highly attentive, and genuinely kind. Thank you concierge team for making everything so seamless and memorable. We have been to the St. Regis Florence several time and our stay has always been superior thanks in large part to the concierge team.

Very good hotel + The hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and is convenient for walking to the major attractions. Although our room was small it was nicely decorated. The hotel itself was somewhat dated but a nice place all the same. The breakfast was very good and the service was excellent. The only miss for me was the smaller room and the dated feel and look of the hotel. Although I enjoyed my experience there I’m not sure I would go there again.

Italian luxury at its finest + An absolutely stellar experience from check to check out. Marvelous staff, excellent food, the best piano bar in Florence for aperitifs and after dinner drinks. This hotel epitomizes five star luxury service. Unlike most properties captured under the Marriott umbrella, St Regis - Firenze improves with time, each visit adds a depth of flavor and delivers a truly memorable experience leaving you longing to return.
