Good Value for Money + Value for money budget Hotel! Everything was clean and hygienic. Breakfast was super. Only thing of concern is the distance from city centre. Staff is polite and helpful. We arrived very early and they could accommodate us with an early check in!

Good staff, might visit again. + Staff was decent and cooperative. The staff was always willing to help., Decent location, on the main road. Overall cleanliness was good. Basic facilities were available. − Smell in the washrooms and poor taste of food. Stayed for 4 to 5 days, but I had to eat repeated items both in breakfast as well as dinner. Housekeeping was absolutely a big NO. Did not even change the spotted sheet for days.

Was good but a little overpriced for the experience + Room was good. − Room service was poor. Very slow and they did not seem to understand simple things. Some days cleaning details were missed in the room.

Mixed Experience – Fairfield by Marriott Chennai OMR + Mixed Experience – Fairfield by Marriott Chennai OMR My recent stay at the property was average, marked by a frustrating start followed by prompt service recovery. Room Allocation & Recovery: I was initially assigned a sub-par room that did not meet expectations. However, after raising a complaint, the front desk managed the room change efficiently within an hour. That said, avoiding allocating such rooms initially would ensure a much smoother guest experience. Dining & Timings: While check-in info indicated breakfast service extended until 11:00 AM, arriving at 10:40 AM resulted in closure notices stating service ended at 10:30 AM. Clear communication regarding operational hours is crucial. Service Recovery: The staff was cooperative in resolving issues post-complaint, but tighter quality control on initial room checks and schedule clarity would vastly improve the experience. Lovely Stay + The stay was lovely. When I initially struggled with the type of reservation, Mingyal from the front desk jumped right in and resolved everything. He's amazing at the front desk, along with Nithya and another girl from West Bengal (sorry, I forgot her name). And now to your restaurant, Shivjit, the manager Shanmugam, and Saravanan are extremely kind people who looked after us every time we visited. These guys deserve an applause and a shout-out in front of their teammates. This was a busy trip away from family, but you made it feel like home. Thank you all! Fairfield OMR, you have great soldiers!!! Take care of them well.

Chennai Marriot Fairfield OMR + Location: Excellent location, especially for business travelers. It is only about five minutes from my office, which made commuting very convenient. Atmosphere: The atmosphere is decent and well-suited for business travelers, though it is not particularly distinctive. Rooms: The rooms are quite small compared to other Marriott properties I have stayed at during my travels in India. While functional and comfortable, they felt noticeably more compact than expected. Value: Since my company booked and paid for the stay, it is difficult to fully assess the value. Based on the overall experience, it seemed reasonably priced for what was offered. Not the kind one expects from Marriott brand + Breakfast was of very poor quality. Although the chef was very kind to redo stale upma. Room was too congested even for a less than 10 hour stay.
