Nice place ro stay, worth the money. + This was the first hotel in Ireland that provided slippers in the room — a lovely surprise! − The sliding entrance door was quite dirty — covered in dust and cobwebs, which left a negative first impression

+ Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Bar area was busy and well staffed. Wish I had time to test out the pool. − Service in the Restaurant was very slow and it was meant to be the premium option. Food was very good when it finally arrived.

To be honest disappointed with the room overall outdated and areas of broken tiles for the price charged it wasn’t good + Location & pool − Needs updating and in places it looks unclean

+ Location Parking − Requested breakfast to the room, unfortunately no one collected the order from the door. Buffet breakfast ok, never offered water for tea. Work going on in the hotel, loud drilling until dinner time.

Salthill Gem + Fantastic location with sea views and a minutes walk from the beach . The sandy beaches in Salthill were easily accessed for swimming . The bus route by the hotel has regular buses to Galway and the Galway tour bus also stops en route. Staff were all very welcoming . Food served in the bar was delicious and reasonably priced . There was ample easy parking . My room was a dual aspect sea view room which was very comfortable. The foyer has plenty of seating and is a pleasant at place to spend time in.

Very poor customer service- unacceptable handling of a complaint − During the stay the guests experienced significant disruption, including excessive noise. As a result, a manager acknowledged the issues and agreed that the hotel would provide a partial refund of as compensation. Over a month later, this refund has still not been received, and a phone call and formal email complaint not responded to.

Pessimo bagno e reception nessuna attenzione al cliente + Solo la colazione buona e gentile lo staff il resto una vergogna. − Il bagno vecchio con doccia fissa che funzionava male. Ho chiesto cambio stanza con bagno vasca o doccia con flessibile,mia moglie aveva il ciclo,la reception se ne è fregata. Ci hanno messo nell' ala più vecchia. Pulizie non fatte a richiesta un inserviente ci ha solo cambiato gli asciugamani..una vergogna!! Neanche una cuffia per la doccia in reception ci hanno recuperato. Ho girato molto in Irlanda,ho sempre pagato bene ma mai ho trovato un hotel così gestito. E non ho certo risparmiato. Altrove accolto benissimo,per fortuna l' Irlanda è fatta di gente accogliente ma al Salthill fanno di tutto per non farti tornare in Irlanda!!!

+ Beautiful hotel welcoming staff at reception − My husband and myself suffer from sleep apnea we needed a outlet (for a cpap and bipap machines) unfortunately there was only one outlet next to the bed but there were 3 outlets at the desk across from the bed which means one of us had to sit in a chair for 4 hours (totally unacceptable)
