Unauthorised credit card charge after checkout. Do NOT book this hotel. + We stayed here in July 2026 (three business travellers). Two days after checkout — without any notification or consent — the hotel simply helped itself to EUR 1,000 from our credit card for alleged sofa damage. This is outrageous. We did not damage the sofa. We didn't even use it. Not a single word was mentioned at checkout. The photos they sent as so-called "evidence" don't even identify the room or when the damage occurred — completely useless. The actual repair invoice turned out to be only ~EUR 449, yet they pocketed EUR 500. On top of that, they had the audacity to charge another EUR 500 as a fabricated "room out of service" fee — with zero evidence of any lost bookings. To make matters worse, the hotel's own T&Cs (Article 10.4) limit guest liability to deliberate damage or gross negligence — so they are violating their own rules. Excellent affordable hotel on quiet street + Excellent hotel with well designed rooms. Communal areas of hotel are great too, there's a small restaurant / bar in the front, plus indoor seating (in the "Library") as well as outdoor seating in the back. On a quiet street minutes away from major attractions, shopping, and transportation.

+ It is a very nice hotel with a reasonable price and a great location. Within walking distance of major attractions.It also has a nice little restaurant and a very good breakfast (although a little expensive). − The bathroom door in my room would not fully close. There is gap that I consider a very bad idea for a bathroom door.
