+ Handy for the airport with convenient shuttle service, comfy beds, great shower. The staff were really helpful. Also close to the station into vancouver or to the airport and plenty of restaurants/ food options nearby. − All good.

+ Well, the hotel was going through a lot of renovations. Our room was great, one of the remodeled ones. Lobby was a mess and felt sorry for the front desk person sitting at a card table. Having said that staff was great, van driver on the way from the airport was an eagle and the staff were all professional, especially given the renovations. Breakfast was fine and the staff took care of business clearing tables and taking care of quests. Even with the challenges, the team there were great. − Renovations, otherwise very nice stay.

The property and facility were typical of a Hampton Inn, but not worth but half what he paid. + This was very near the airport with shuttle service. Friendly reception staff. pretty decent breakfast. − The price in $US was outrageous for a Hampton property. I think I overheard what others were being charged, which sounded like much less than what we were charged through Booking.com - BUT I cannot be certain; it was the end of a trip and I didn't have the energy to dig into it.

Not up to usual Hampton Inn standards + I would book Hampton Inns as a reliable airport hotel but unfortunately this one is showing its age and does not meet the usual standards of fit out or cleanliness I would expect.

Perfect stop over if you're flying in and straight out the next day + The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and beautiful linen. The buffet breakfast was good. Staff were extremely friendly, airport shuttle very good. − Not many restaurants within walking distance - I did however discover the most amazing Italian restaurant very nearby, called Italian Tomato

Great for short Vancouver layover + Great location for closenes to airport. Super nice staff, gave us the room in the morning although check in was at 16:00. Another bonus feature is a free airport shuttle (which we used at 05:30 in the morning).
