Lovely hotel but beware building work next door + This is a lovely hotel with really nice modern, comfortable rooms however…next door to the hotel is a building site and the noise from here which starts at 7.45 a.m. is detrimental, particularly if you want a little lie-in. Just be aware of this before booking your stay. If we had been aware we would have chosen to stay elsewhere on this occasion.

Not a good experience + A real shame that our experience here was affected by the building site next door. Our room was next to the building site so we were woken early daily. The hotel management hid from us and avoided us leaving the junior staff to take our complaints. The staff we dealt with were friendly and polite but could not help us. The hotel offered no compensation for our disturbed stay and didn't offer satisfactory alternative rooms. We were given a free breakfast but that was so bad I would recommend not paying for it. If you are being put in a room to the western end of this hotel ask for a discount straight away or go somewhere else, unless you like being woken by builders. The rooms we had were nice but everything was tainted by the builders. The hotel will say they do not control the building site but they should be offering a discount up front and also should be negotiating with the building site to not make any noise before 8am. We were being woken closer to 7am. P…

Good hotel, but the restaurant? + The rooms and hotelservice were good and they have a perfect spacious garage. The restaurant however is except from the waitress not good at all. The floor was dirty, and the kitchen was two out of four not capable to serve what promised, and it took time and time. The breakfastwindow is completely wrong. Starting at seven only for buspassengers means the restaurant is too small for other guests who payed the breakfast in advance. I would expect better from a experienced restaurant.

Lovely Hotel + Room quite large and very adequate. Two queen beds in room, very comfy with good pillows. All staff very helpful and friendly, especially Neil on the concierge desk who was very helpful in planning our few days in Banff. Location great. Definitely happy to recommend, we would stay here again.

Sub par + I came here as a 60th bday and was told it was a boutique hotel. I walked in and the lobby was basic and dated. I explained my concern and then asked for an upgrade as part of the American Express. We check into our room and it has a view of a construction site. I was told this is the only room they have available

+ Location, amenities, Neil the concierge was super helpful! − Our room keys did not work. Had to trade them out 4 times to be rekeyed. It was very annoying.

Superbe hôtel de montagne très agréable. + La beauté de l’hôtel − Le choix du petit déjeuner en buffet jusqu’à 9h et ensuite sur assiette. Un peu étrange.

Goed hotel, centraal gelegen, wel aan de prijs. + Hotel ligt iets uit het centrum van Banff - maar alles is op loopafstand te bereiken. Kamer was zeer ruim evenals de badkamer. Bed was comfortabel. Hotel beschikt over een binnenzwembad en kleine sauna en dat is allemaal prima voor elkaar. Je kunt er s'avonds ook eten, maar dat hebben we niet gedaan. Beetje google onderzoek laat zien dat er op loopafstand betere alternatieven beschikbaar zijn. Ook makkelijk is de ondergrondse parkeer garage (tegen een additionele fee). − De prijs/kwaliteit - hoewel alles prima op orde was en de kamer ruim en schoon was, betaal je wel de hoofdprijs. Als prijs afzet tegen wat je krijgt, valt het wat tegen. Wellicht dat het aan Banff ligt maar voor het geld hebben we in mooiere en betere hotels geslapen. Restaurant ziet er niet "aanlokkelijk" uit. Eten zal vast prima zijn, maar de gezelligheid is ver te zoeken. Kamer heeft een ouderwetse airco onder het raam - die doet zijn werk prima en dat moet ook wel …

Muy caro para lo que ofrece + El personal es lo mejor. El resto mal para lo caro que es. − Imposible desayunar en agosto. Masas de gente. El hotel es feo en general. Una pena en ese entorno impresionante.
