Great hotel + this is probably the nicest Ritz we have stayed at. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and everything is in working order. You cant say anything more. Communication from start to finish was excellent. Would stay here again for sure. Thanks Ritz Montreal TEAM!!!!

Extraordinary service, truly great hotel - love it! + One of my top favorite hotels in the world, wish I could give it 6 stars. We stayed here last year and I loved it, so was very happy that we ended up back in Montreal and could stay here again. Service is impeccable, I felt it as soon as we stepped out of the cab. They are just excellent. I booked a junior suite, they upgraded us to a corner. There was a lovely plate of fresh fruit welcoming us to our room. When I had to extend our stay unexpectedly, they handled it smoothly and immediately offered me the same rate, as well as noting that I could still check out on our original schedule if I needed to as I finished sorting out our plans. It’s obvious the entire staff takes enormous pride in this place; the bellman even rode up the elevator with me to finish telling me a story about the history of the hotel. The room was fabulous (I particularly loved having a fireplace, so cosy), the Palm Court restaurant is great, and I only wish …

Celebrating in Montreal + We were on a trip to celebrate our 50th anniversary, and our honeymoon was a trip to Quebec, so we traveled through Montreal. We had just one night to spend in Montreal and we used Bonvoy points to stay at the Ritz Carlton. The exceptional service provided by each and every member of the staff, beginning with an email from Florence Svoboda, ensured that we had a wonderful visit. I only wish we’d been able to stay longer! When we arrived in our beautiful room we found a bottle of champagne and macarons, plus a congratulatory note from Florence. Even though we had reserved our room using points, I feel like we were treated like guests who had paid for the most expensive room in the hotel. Thank you for a memorable visit and for an example of true hospitality at its best.

The Art of True Hospitality + My friends René, Dany and I recently celebrated my 51st birthday during your Afternoon Tea experience at The Palm Court of The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal. We wanted to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service we received throughout our visit. Ariane welcomed us with remarkable grace, patience and warmth. We were probably a little overexcited at first—moving chairs around, eager to settle in and impatient to discover the menu. With genuine kindness and effortless professionalism, she gently guided us into the refined rhythm of the Ritz-Carlton experience, never making us feel uncomfortable, only welcomed. Toward the end of our visit, we had the pleasure of speaking with her about her background in communications and event production. Elegant Hospitality and Luxury + The RC Montreal is frequently named the best Ritz-Carlton in North America, and after staying there I believe this to be true. It is an elegant, beautiful, hospitable property. I arrived early in the morning and was able to check into an upgraded junior suite before 11AM. I appreciated the warm service even prior to check-in. The day before I received a lovely welcome call from the front desk to touch base for my stay. I arrived at 9:45AM before the room was ready, but was still provided water and a temporary key to access the pool and spa while I waited. When the room became available, I received the most incredible welcome tour from the bellman, Ricardo, who is among the friendliest hotel staff I have ever encountered. Give this man all the raises, accolades, and plaudits for his amazing service: he IS the best!!! The room was lovely. Exceptionally Well Run + Highly impressed with the level of service and professionalism. Helpful front desk, especially the exceptional desk manager. Valets are friendly and always prompt. Warm Hospitality and Exceptional Service + The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive, and they made us feel at home throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and very well maintained. Everything was spotless, and we really appreciated the attention to detail. Everyone we met was kind, professional, and always happy to help. Great Hotel + This is a beautiful old hotel in a great downtown location. Our room was large, immaculate and very well appointed. There was a desk, a couch and chair. The WiFi signal was strong and there were many outlets. Service is remarkably consistent and excellent at this Ritz-Carlton. This is the place to stay in Montreal.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were absolutely fantastic and made the entire experience feel special. What really sets this Ritz apart is its character. This isn’t the sleek, modern Ritz-Carlton experience you find in many cities today. The hotel embraces its history, with beautiful architecture, classic décor, and little pieces of the past throughout the property. Seeing the famous phone booth connected to the first transcontinental telephone call was such a unique touch, and knowing this was the first hotel in North America to carry the Ritz-Carlton name makes staying here feel like experiencing a piece of history.
