The best hotel in Whistler! + This was our second trip to Whistler in three years. The first we stayed at the Fairmont on the gold floor. It was a wonderful experience. On our second trip we wanted to try out the Four Seasons. To be honest, we now found the hotel. We’re going to stay time in Whistler! It felt more like a boutique hotel than the Grande of the Fairmont. The location was good. The food was excellent, but the service was unbelievably impeccable. It all starts with the valet and the front desk. The valet guys were tremendous at their job. They not only were fun to interact with, but they gave us wonderful recommendations on where locals would eat where they would hike where they would go in the rain and in the sun. We owe them huge for everything they did for us! Also, the car service they provide was super convenient getting around Whistler. Next was the front desk. Great hotel - pool was nice, staff friendly, nice room but lacking staff and buffet was not well maintained - lots of wa + Beautiful and great location and staff − Breakfast buffet- very expensive. If you order off the menu it took 45 mins every morning. Buffet was too small for the amount of people. We had to wait to be seated in the mornings for about 20 minutes. Also our room needed a polish-Lots of dust on the surfaces, which the maid must have missed every day. The make up room was nice and bed made and water topped up but being 5 star I would think these things need to be improved.

Disappointing Check-In Experience at Four Seasons Whistler + Unfortunately, my arrival experience at Four Seasons Whistler did not meet the level of service I expected from the Four Seasons brand. I booked my stay at the regular rate, which was considerably higher than some of the rates available to other guests. During check-in, I observed guests who had paid lower rates receiving their rooms before mine was ready. When I raised my concern, I was told that room assignments are based on the room category reserved and availability, and that room availability is not determined by the rate paid. I fully understand that the official check-in time is 4:00 PM and that rooms cannot always be ready early. My disappointment is less about having to wait and more about the overall handling of the situation. Geweldig! + Persoonlijke benadering: als ze je hielpen met een activiteit boeken, vroegen ze de volgende dag hoe het was gegaan. Het hotel ligt net iets buiten het dorp, maar er gaat een pendelbus. Onze zoon had de pendelbus net gemist en werd toen nog apart met een auto van het hotel naar het dorp gebracht. Ook brachten ze ons naar andere plekken binnen een bepaalde range. Spectacular Whistler Resort + This place is amazing. The rooms are spectacular, I have stayed here many times and never been disappointed. Check in was easy, you can walk to several restaurants and shopping. They have a shuttle and a large SUV that will drive you to other destinations.

Relaxing and Beautiful. + Everything. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. It was more expensive than we would usually book, but it was very much worth it. We felt spoilt the whole weekend. I am also Celiac and they catered to my food issues amazingly. − I didn't like that I now have a higher standard out of what I want out of a hotel on vacation haha. Like, seriously, how can you go back after that experience?
