Great hotel experience, unfortunate experience at the Pacini Restaurant + Great location, well designed rooms, comfortable beds, professional, efficient & personable front desk staff. However a pleasant stay was marred by a receptionist & manager of the Pacini restaurant who definitely need more training in handling legitimate guest complaints.

Would not recommend. + The location. − The room was cramped. Furthermore, you had to keep the blinds shut 24/7 because you were closely overlooked by the next door hotel. When we complained about the room, we were told we could upgrade to another room for an additional $80 a night. We were already paying over $1000 a night for a superior king room and declined. No other offers were made. On checkout, after complaining again, we were promised an email and a partial refund. This never came.

A great stay + A fabulous hotel with wonderful, friendly, efficient staff. Centrally located, The rooms are very comfortable, the breakfast is good and the open air, roof top hot tubs a great way to start and end your day.

Everything was good and location was excellent but for $1,000 a night it was definitely underwhelming but then again, al + The location was great for walking all around Banff, the lobby was beautiful. − The rooms are very small for the money. The outdoor hallway could use more cleaning, as could the balcony (mostly leaves though).
