+ The breakfast and staff there were 10 out of 10. Location is great and plenty of eating options close by. View for top deck amazing. OK little gym. − The standard room is a little cosy. Floors could be cleaner (but everything else was spotless)

Zu teuer und alt, aber gut Lage + Tollen Lage an der Copacabana − Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Zimmer war winzig, kaum Platz fürs Gepäck. Die Klimaanlage war zudem schimmelig. Der Frühstücksraum ist außerdem zu klein für die Größe des Hotels was zu Wartezeiten führen kann.

Excellent + L’emplacement est idéal car sur Copacabana, mais pas très loin d’Ipanema, pour une première à Rio c’est chouette. (+ le rooftop qui a une vue imprenable sur Copacabana) Les chambres sont très propres, salle de bain et literie très confortable ! (Pour avoir fait plusieurs hôtels à Rio et au Brésil durant notre voyage, c’était sûrement le plus propre et les chambres les moins humides!) − N’ayant Pas pris d’option vue mer ou vue ville donc ça donnait sur une sorte de cours et il faisait vraiment très sombre, mais c’est un détail, tout était parfait !

Good location and views, but the overall experience falls short of 4-star expectations. + * Very good location on Copacabana. * Nice rooftop view overlooking the beach. * Rooftop pool, sauna and a clean, well-maintained gym. * Good and varied breakfast. * Our request for a high-floor room was respected. * Be aware of additional charges, even at breakfast: for example, cappuccino costs extra, as does bottled water in the room. * The hotel has some good assets, particularly its location and rooftop, but there were several negative aspects to our stay that are worth considering — I invite you to read the section below for the full picture. − * Cold and rather condescending welcome at check-in. * Very limited evening services for a 4-star hotel: no lobby bar or room service after 7 PM. * No heating in the room; the air conditioning only cools, and the only solution offered was an extra blanket. * Construction work around the hotel can be noisy — earplugs are actually provided in the room.…
