Elegant hotel in RAK + Very nice hotel opened less than 1 yr ago. Nicely decorated. Rooms are elegant as well. Staff was very helpful

I love it, almost …. + Roomboy Sudi, I never had so friendly service! Even Margret, Fred or Ali very friendly staff. They made my stay almost to a perfect holidaytrip One bad point: breakfast. I used only one time, it is very bad. I paid a lot of money and when I arrived breakfast area they want give me a table on the corridor. Area was overcrowded. I really couldn’t. believe and was disappointed Food was bad quality. Even I paid, I didn’t go a second time. Very pity for a 5 star hotel.

Almost perfect + It is rare for a hotel to be almost perfect, at least for us. From arriving we were warmly greeted, the room had a huge terrace and we were allowed to check in early which brilliant. Pool was so warm like a bath, lots of nice sun beds and swings and swinging baskets for relaxing and photos. Beach beautiful white sand, staff so nice, breakfast yummy!! I can only say room service was disappointing and could be improved but the restaurant food was amazing. Of course there is the construction next door which is loud and dusty, and the other guests were not all the best to be around, but I was really surprised and happy to stay at the RAK intercontinental.

+ Other than construction noise, everything else was perfect. It’s not the hotel fault though….

+ Lovely four nights spent in the hotel. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the set up was ideal for our desire to chill for a few days. The only caveat we would mention was the unfortunate noise from construction alongside the hotel, but that is the price you sometimes have to accept in a state expanding at the pace of Dubai. This was our second visit and I would have no problems returning. Great for families too.

+ Villas have not been maintained. Broken window door (very dangerous) For the price charged there was evidence of shoddy workmanship everywhere. Cleaners kept letting in lizards causing a pest issue in our villa. Limited and poor quality restaurants
