Beautiful and peaceful resort + We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this resort and would definitely recommend it. The staff were very polite and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was beautiful, with a great variety of options and stunning views of the sea that made each morning special. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and very tastefully decorated, with high ceilings that gave a real sense of comfort and luxury. They also smelled amazing, we loved the lemongrass scent so much that we ended up buying some to take home! The gardens are very well maintained and create a peaceful atmosphere throughout the resort. The pool area is excellent, with plenty of sunbeds available. One thing that really stood out was the beach. While many beaches in Phu Quoc can unfortunately be quite dirty, the resort’s beach was impressively clean. The staff clearly put a lot of effort into maintaining it, and they deserve real credit for that so well done to the whole team…

Schönes Resort + Sehr schönes Resort und sehr freundliches Personal. Die Villas sind auch schön und direkt am Strand. Es gibt viele Aktivitäten. − Leider muss ich Punkte abziehen aufgrund vom Meer. Es ist sehr schade, dass man praktisch gar nicht schwimmen kann im Meer, es ist einfach voll mit Müll. Die Mitarbeiter geben sich Mühe das jeden Tag zu reinigen, aber es kommt immer mehr.

+ The resort layout was beautiful. The pool was absolutely stunning. We enjoyed a sunset dinner on the jetty and the meal was reasonably priced considering we were remote. The staff were really lovely. − The bed was very hard which didn't suit my back. Our first experience with sleeping under a mosquito net as the room is not fully sealed. Decided its not for us but that is only personal taste.

Nice location but not a 5* + The setting was beautiful. Lovely location. Breakfast had a lot to offer and a nice pool. The food at dinner was good. − Was very dated needs a lot of work doing to it. The rooms are old and not very nice. The outside bath is chipped and furniture old. There is no pool service if you want a drink and it’s hard to find someone available for service. There is no water in the restaurant if you fancy just a cold glass as all water is warm to refill bottles. The airport transfer they offer is a lot more than making your own way to and from. The air con didn’t work very well and the one time we asked for an opener to the room this couldn’t be done. Its definitely not a 5*

An idyllic and peaceful villa right by the sea + This was one of the best places I have stayed for a holiday. The views from the whole resort were unbelievable. Staff were so friendly and I loved all the extra touches during the stay (the pre evening ritual was adorable). The villa was amazing, so much space with all the features you need. The bathroom was stunning too and the provided toiletries were top quality. I ate most of my meals at the restaurant which had plenty of choice and amazing to eat on the boardwalk over the ocean. − Honestly nothing!

+ Loved this boutique resort, really nice place to relax and enjoy the pool, spa and the sea. Typical idyllic beach resort. Feels really special, private & romantic the moment you enter the reception room area. Everything looks immaculately care for and has the eat, love pray vibe. Staff warm and friendly and we dined at the restaurant 2 out of the 3 nights, loved the food and night time atmosphere by the sea. Sunsets are amazing too. − The weather was really hot & humid during our trip late April 2026. Apart from your cabin there is nowhere else to relax with air conditioning on (like when your having breakfast in the morning). Its just a small detail but would be nice to have the option "alfresco or inside". They do have fans placed around the restaurant though to compensate. I recommend get yourself one of those handheld fans, it will make the difference in the heat. Otherwise everything else was beautiful.

Amazing + I came with my wife on our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. The whole staff exceeded expectations in their hospitality and personalized touch. The resort is tranquil and super relaxing with an amazing private beach. The restaurant and spa are both excellent. The watersports equipment was an especially nice touch for me, good shallow water for windsurfing beginners. At all times we felt really welcome and looked after, with frequent complimentary small gestures for the guests that made our day. As an example, my wife misstepped and hurt her foot and the very same minute Mr Duong noticed and approached us from the far side of the beach to offer his help. Above and beyond is clearly the mindset for the whole hotel staff. Amazing experience. Thank you for everything to the whole Chen Sea team! − It's sad that the sea seems polluted at times, despite the hotel staff efforts to clean the garbage - but again that's all of Phu Quoc I suppose

− The reason for giving this resort the lowest grade is that the Villa's are very different from what is displayed on Booking.com and are not of 5-star standard, so we recommend caution, especially if you want to book a longer stay. To be clear, the promotional pictures of the beach, pool and surrounding gardens are indeed nice and correct. The biggest issue with the villa's that is not shown on Booking.com is the open setup and faulty door fittings. The bathroom is open and not separated from the outside environment. As a result, it is very humid, not airconditioned and mosquitoes and other insects can move in and out freely. In the main room(s) both the entrance door and terrace doors have visible gaps around the wooden frames, even when fully closed. Because of this, possibly Dengue-infected mosquitoes and insects can freely enter the room. As a result, the guest has to sleep under a mosquito net wearing insect repellent. A very relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. + The breakfast & the room service meals we had were fantastic. The spa treatments were amazing. The turn down service was a real bonus. We arrived after midnight, & the Team had prepared supper for us & popped it in our apartment, that was a lovely surprise. − It would have been great to have a lounge suite in our living room area. There was only a very casual sofa seat, which was not very comfortable.

Una fuga speciale in un posto super. + Abbiamo prenotato una villa vista mare, semplicemente fantastica. Pulizia eccezionale, spazi enormi, privacy e comfort. Il bagno in stile coloniale è molto grande e il patio comodo per godersi gli spazi e il tramonto direttamente davanti ai tuoi occhi. C’è anche la vasca in mosaico privata. − Praticamente impossibile trovare qualcosa che non sia andato bene nel mio soggiorno. Ho privato di tutto: dal ristorante al servizio lavanderia, alla piscina e al servizio spiaggia: perfetti !

Villino fantastico, staff eccezionale e colazioni meravigliose + Villino fantastico, curato e dotato di tutti i comfort. Letto comodissimo con zanzariera, bagno spazioso con due lavandini e una bellissima doccia esterna coperta. Il patio è molto piacevole, con un comodo salottino dove poter pranzare con il room service e anche una vasca da bagno. Davanti al villino c'è una zona praticamente privata sul prato, con due lettini riservati, mentre sulla spiaggia ci sono lettini condivisi, con la possibilità di spostare i propri. Room service sempre puntuale e molto comodo. Staff eccezionale, gentile, disponibile e professionale, in perfetta sintonia con la grande educazione e il rispetto che abbiamo trovato durante il nostro viaggio in Vietnam.
