A great family ran hostel that is an awesome base to explore Seoraksan from. + The Red House was the perfect base to explore Seoraksan from, you could walk to the park without a bus or taxi if you’re planning to do a 3am start. It is family owned and ran, they were super sweet and made me feel very welcomed. It was not really a social hostel when I was there but that was okay cause I was spending most my time in the park. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Seoraksan.

Amazing! + We had a phenomenal stay at Red House! The location is perfect—just a few minutes away from all the hiking trails and only a minute’s walk from a bus stop that can take you into the city. But what truly made this place special were the hosts. Red House is run by the kindest family, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. They helped us arrange tickets to the water park, gave us plenty of useful tips, and were always incredibly accommodating. The accommodation has everything you need and is kept very neat and clean. Honestly, it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like visiting family who happen to live in the mountains, surrounded by spectacular views! We truly cannot recommend this place highly enough. We would absolutely love to come back!

Bona ubicació + La ubicació és perfectaper visitar Seoraksan. Els propietaris són molt amables i et donen tota la informació necessària per visitar el parc. Ens van ajudar en tot, inclús facilitant-nos diferents maneres de pagament quan no podiem pagar amb la targeta. − Les instal·lacions son molt bàsiques i necessitarien modernitzar-se. No poder obrir la finestra ni veure a fora perquè la finestra tenia un protector que no permetia veure fora, nomès deixava entrar claror.

Incredibly nice staff, great location, very dated rooms. + Great location, good home-made breakfast, very pleasant homely enviroment with incredibly nice owners who were super helpful! − I hate giving a lower rating since the owners' attitude is a definite 10/10. But I think it's fair to other travelers to point out, that the quality and cleanliness of the facilities wasn't the best. The property is classified as Motel here on Booking. Well, don't expect a hotel, expect a family-run hostel with private rooms. Carpet in the halls could use some vacuuing, there was mold on the bathroom curtain, all furniture is very dated, stains on walls. I was ok with that but given the stellar rating I was disappointed at first.

Amazing stay!! + This is an amazing hotel! The staff is so incredibly friendly and took the time to give us many tips about the beautiful surroundings and good hiking routes. It is perfectly situated for many gorgeous hikes or smaller walks through nature. Can only most warmly recommend and say thank you for having us!

+ Die Lage ist perfekt, um in den Nationalpark zu gehen. Zu Fuß dauert es ca. 20min, sonst kann man auch noch 1 Station Bus fahren. Vor der Tür ist auch ein minimarket und ein paar Restaurants und Cafés. Nach Sokcho rein braucht man in etwa 30-40min mit dem Bus, es gibt auch direkt eine Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und hat alles, was man braucht (auch eine kostenlose Waschmaschine). Die Besitzer sind total freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als alleinreisende Frau habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt.

+ 아침식사 너무너무 좋았어요. 아이들과 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다. 계란스크램블, 토마토, 김치, 고추무침, 밥, 애호박버섯무침, 김칫국, 토스트빵, 직접 만드신 잼, 우유, 시리얼, 커피, tea, 등 너무 좋았어요. 이외에도 침대가 두개여서 4명의 인원이 편하게 잘 수 있어서 좋았다는거랑.. 사장님이 맛있는 감자도 쪄서 선물로 주셔서 냠냠 잘 먹었고요. 건너편 건물 지하에 넓은 공간이 있고 오락실처럼 게임기기도 여러대 있어서 진짜진짜 재밌게 놀았거든요. 다음에도 가고싶어요!! − 전 딱히 없었어요 굳이굳이 꼽자면 설악산 근처여서 도심과 거리가 있기 때문에 음식 배달에는 제한이 있다는 점? 근데 위치는 여기인걸 다들 알고오실테니까 이게 아쉽다고 하기도 뭐하고 ㅎㅎ 대신 근처에 식당은 꽤 있어서 걸어서 식사 할수도 있고 편의점도 있고 해서 있을거 다 있어요 ㅎㅎ

Hotel familiar muy cerca de Seoraksan + Alojamiento muy bien situado para visitar el parque de Seoraksan, puedes ir andando hasta allí. También está muy cerca de la parada de bus que va desde Socko al parque de Seoraksan. El alojamiento es muy práctico con un desayuno extraordinario con mucha variedad. Pero lo que de verdad destaca es la familia que lo regenta. Te ayudan siempre con información para visitar el parque, con la logística y con lo que necesites. Hemos estado muy a gusto. Lo recomendamos. − Las toallas de baño son las mini toallas típicas coreanas, jajajaa

Incredible location in the middle of Seoraksan national park + The location of the hotel is incredible. It is inside Seoraksan national park, while taking a shower you can see the mountains covered in Korean red pines. It is close to a bus stop where you can catch a bus that brings you in 2 minutes at the start of all the hiking paths. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Room was nice. Great value for money!
