+ The service from host Chang Hoon was outstanding—professional, polished, and truly excellent. The entire experience felt authentic and genuine, and even my high school–aged children thoroughly enjoyed it. You MUST go! − The only downside was sleeping on the floor on a thick mattress, as we’re used to sleeping on a bed. However it was also a unique experience—resting on the floor atop a beautiful traditional Korean doona.

Great visit in a cool traditional place with a really nice family. + I wanted to try a traditional hanok experience. I liked it a lot. The house is beautiful. My futon/mat was very comfortable. The family owners are super-sweet. − The hanok is down mound of a funky alley, surrounded by machine parts shops. But just a couple blocks after that are lots of good cafes.
