+ De rust, ruimte en het enorm vriendelijke personeel. Kijk, veel mensen klagen over dat Bali te druk is en te modern geworden, verpest door massa toerisme. Niks van dat alles is op Candidasa van toepassing. Een rustig kabbelend dorpje zonder poespas. Als je rust zoekt en authenticiteit, dan zul je dat hier vinden. De tuin is prachtig, de mensen lief, de prijs heel laag. Kresna en zijn team zetten alles op alles om je welkom te voelen. − De rust en authenticiteit die je hier vindt heeft ook een keerzijde. Het hotel is echt heel authentiek Balinees, je vindt dus niet alleen het Bali van 20 jaar terug in Candidasa, maar de tijd heeft in het hotel ook twintig jaar stil gestaan. Sommige mensen kunnen genieten van de authentieke huisjes, maar voor de moderne reiziger zullen de kapotte plavuizen vloeren, de kieren overal, het gebrek aan onderhoud en de weinige styling, de harde ouderwetse bedden en ongedierte hier en daar toch wat twijfels oproepen. + Sehr schönes Hotel mit perfektem Bali-Feeling und mit angeschlossenem Orca-Divecenter. Für den gebotenen Standard ist das Preis-Leistungs -Verhältnis super. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und engagiert. Ein Highlight ist der sehr geschmackvoll gestaltete Spa-Bereich und auch den direkt am Strand befindlichen Pool fand ich sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind großzügig mit sehr bequemen Betten und mit einem teilweise nach oben offenen Bad. Man duscht unter freiem Himmel, wie in vielen Resorts auf Bali. Das Tauchcenter ist für Taucher und Schnorchler sehr empfehlenswert. Leider war der Strand im März 2026 wegen eines umfangreichen Renovierungsprojekts der Regierung eine Baustelle. Das Hotel hat dies direkt bei der Buchung offen kommuniziert und bemüht sich nach Kräften, den Gästen trotzdem einen schönen Aufenthalt zu gewährleisten. If you're looking for a more traditional Balinese resort, this is one you should definitely look at. + If you're looking for a resort with a "traditional" Balinese feel, this resort would be a great choice. First and foremost, the service from all the staff is fantastic. Special thanks to Suledra, who is responsible for the grounds and gardens, he took me on a private hike to the Temple at the top of the nearby mountain. Also, thank you for the kindest service from Mudana, Sriata, Sukarya, Aryarthi, Mahdi, Purenami, the massage team, and all the staff who made our stay amazing from the time we arrived to the moment we left. Secondly, the grounds and gardens are beautiful, the traditional food and drinks are tops. The rooms are spacious, albeit, somewhat dated - but, again, they preserve a traditional feel which we very much appreciated. Toller Aufenthalt und gerne wieder + Sehr schönes Hotel abseits der Hauptstraße. Toller Pool, wunderschönes Frühstück. − Bett war mir persönlich etwas zu weich. Derzeit wegen Bau der Promenade kein Zugang zum Strand ( dass war aber bekannt und wegen des Tauchens auch kein Problem).

+ Candidasa was beautiful. While the ocean was under conservation efforts, you can access a little bit next-door. Still, there’s a beautiful pool with the sounds of the ocean as a backdrop. meals are taken in the upstairs restaurant where you can see the ocean. Rooms are good size and feel private. It’s a pretty property. There are good restaurants nearby as well. It’s far enough from the main road to not hear traffic. The hotel transports you to Virgin Beach and it’s perfect there. The staff was very nice.

+ Our family loved the relaxed vibe of this boutique hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The onsite restaurant is excellent for lunch or dinner and the breakfast buffet is substantial. We loved the added touches of a fruit basket for the room! The staff are super lovely. The spa whilst slightly more expensive than other options is excellent also. Several local options within walking distance for meals makes this hotel an great choice. − Nothing
