All in all ok but there are better options for that price + The area is a bit outside of the city center but still close enough to many places! Kind hotel staff − The pictures are a bit misleading as some parts of the hotel look different/ some pictures are not taken here. Overall it was a good stay but the music starts playing early (around 7am) and since everything is super close you will hear everyone at breakfast or who sits outside. Sleeping after 7am was mostly not possible for me. Other than that it was good!

Superb + The staff are super friendly. The location was great for group of older women - out of the middle of town. Our villa was exactly what we needed - 5 rooms, each with unsuited & privacy.

Exceptional + The suites are with great facilities - cleaning every day, water everyday and the service is very good - room service and included breakfast. The staff is very helpful and the getaways that the company is offering are very good. Poor + The staff were friendly and checked in our our flight status as it was just a day after the volcano eruption on 18 June − There are two main issues. Firstly, the property was not private. There were two entrances - the main entrance and a back entrance linking to a back road and the whole entrance was open. It was dark at night. Our villa was near the back entrance, so anyone could have approached us at night and the front desk staff wouldn’t even know. Secondly, the toilets in the villa open out to the nature which is not well-maintained. We had all sorts of bugs around the shower area and that’s actually not great, especially at night. Also, there were ants in the room which we could not keep out despite following the instructions given by the hotel to keep all doors shut to keep the bugs out of the room. What’s more horrifying is we woke up to find tons of ants under the blanket after a night’s sleep. We ended up checking out a day earlier, forfeiting a night’s stay so tha…

The Ultimate Disconnect + We had a very enjoyable stay at Kakul Villas, the rooms were spacious, comfortable beds, pool & pool area was clean, room service was prompt, the restaurant was a short beautiful walk through the resort away and the staff were friendly and helpful. A beautiful spot to escape the busy life and enjoy tranquility in your surrounds. − Our villa in particular wasn't very accessible and required jumping up a large step from ground level. Access to the pool area was similar (which was good for us given we had a toddler). Location was quite isolated which is good for those looking to switch off and relax. There were only a few cafes within walking distance, everything else required transport.
