Thoroughly relaxing 5 days. Staff were superb. + Staff were fabulous. Location exactly what we wanted, quiet and very relaxing. The staff were very attentive to our every needs, and went above and beyond. We would stay here again for sure. It is expensive but for us was worth the money. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and the restaurant in the hotel and the Teppanyaki were top class.

A memorable luxurious getaway with amazing hospitality + I loved the rooms especially the private pool and access to the beach with black sand − I liked it all but I think the occupancy was low there were few guests only in the communal areas which is good and bad

Exceptional hotel / resort in Bali - our most relaxing luxury experience + Everything about this hotel is exceptional : location, service, food and service. A true international standards 5 star hotel - which is the only place we have found to deserve the title in Bali. The little number of villas / clients allows them to really provide the best service. You feel special and catered to. Respectful of the environment and the local culture, we had music and dance performed by the local school sponsored by the Soori - this was very nice. Also it was among the best food we have had in Bali. And they were very nice with our two young kids. Will definitely return when we get a chance to come back to Bali. − Nothing

Stunning location. Beautiful beach - sparkling black sand. Disappointing food and spa experiences. + The location was stunning. Beautiful beach. The staff were lovely and welcoming. − The food was unimpressive. The beef rendang was not cooked well. Indonesian dishes were not spicy. Breakfast was underwhelming. The spa experience was overpriced and poor experience compared to similar standard properties.

Beautiful Soori - a haven of elegance and peace + Soori Bali exemplifies for me, all that Bali used to be. The setting is calm and peaceful, nestled into surrounding rice fields on one side that the expansive Indian Ocean on the other. The building blends sympathetically with its surroundings. The rooms are generous, private and thoughtfully laid out. Food options are plentiful and excellent. The entire staff contribute to the beautiful atmosphere here - all take great care in everything they do.
