+ This place is a hidden gem. We are so lucky to have found it. Staff are gorgeous humans and very kind and helpful. The villa is out of this world. Gorgeous setting, peaceful and beautifully decorated. It has everything you need for your stay. The breakfast with eggs, fruit and toast is just glorious and so beaufully set out by staff in your villa every morning. Our villa had three rooms and a pool. There is one room in the main house with two bathrooms and kitchen and living, dining area (all within a private courtyard) and two more seperate standing rooms with their own bathrooms. The beds are comfortable and queen sized and air conditioned. The worst part of our stay was not booked longer than three nights. We will definitely be back

+ This property is gorgeous. Every villa has a unique feeling and it's a little away from Ubud city center for more quiet. The villa is owed and run by locals, so you'll be directly supporting the village by staying here. I'm going to book Devi's Place every time I come to Bali.

+ Devis place was the absolute perfect destination stay for a solo female traveler such as myself. It was for my birthday and the staff were so kind and accommodating. I always felt safe, everything was cleaned daily, and everyone was willing to help with anything. Rides were very easy to get off you didn't feel like walking. I would absolutely stay with Devis Place again.

Great stay, a couple of be awares + We stayed in the Lotus Cottage for 4 nights in January 2018. Our stay was generally pleasant, and there is room for improvement. Excellent: The setting is very Zen and tropical The staff is very helpful, friendly and responsive Air conditioning, furnished kitchen, fridge Shower supplies are Spa grade Included breakfast is butter, jam and fresh fruit Room is made every day Driver provided (for a fee) is very friendly, helpful and professional Be aware: Bathroom, shower, and kitchen are private within cottage but outdoor Location somewhat distant from tourist area No TV channels; only DVD player Privacy is limited; Water, coffee or tea not included Do not leave food outside; ants and/or dogs will get to it Opportunity for improvement: More comfortable chairs would be appreciated Free roaming dogs are not accepted by all guests One of the owner dogs is unrestrained, barks at visitors and may be perceived as aggressive The communal pool should be …

A very bitter disapointment!! + What a bitter disappointment our 4 day stay at Devi's Place was. we came for the said rest. But they were in the incredible noise for 4 days from 7 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. It turned out that there was a ceremony, about which the owner should certainly have warned us because then I would have booked a different period. Unfortunately, here too, money appears to be more important than morals towards returning guests. So be warned! Because the temple where these ceremonies take place is right behind the cottages! There is absolutely no rest, you really go crazy from the rickety all day and we came home very overstimulated. And the owner gave the impression that he didn't care at all.

Did not meet expectations and price was too high + Accomodations were very clean, kitchen facilities excellent, very comfortable bed and high quality linens, plenty of hot water, a beautiful pool which I didn't get to use. Supremely helpful staff, nice breakfast. Cons Very noisy and close to road, absolutely overpriced, first cottage bedrooms were separated and lots of openings for mosquitoes and insects, no a/c in living area, second cottage was newer, but outside of bedrooms was no a/c so very hot and atuffy

Fabulous location and accommodation + Our individual Villa at Penestanan was superb. From the private pool to the well laid out living space and private bedroom, we had everything we needed and wanted. Breakfast was delivered to our villa every morning, and the villa was serviced every day when we were out. The villas are a short walk to coffee and food at Penestanan, and a longer walk to many Ubud restaurants.

+ We had a great experience at Devi’s place Ubud. The villa has everything you can need or want. The staff was very accomodating and their service was top notch. Breakfast was amazing. Our kids loved the fresh fruit. Whenever we needed transportation, they arranged it promptly. We’ll definite come back again. Definately, one of our best family vacations!

A wonderful opportunity to stay in a serene setting in a village, away from too much bustle. + Our fifth time staying at Devi's Place, this time in Villa Mandala again. Hard to imagine thinking about staying anywhere else - the villa is gorgeous, the view is tranquil and the service from the whole team is exemplary. We are very grateful to have been made to feel part of Penestanan village and would happily come back.

Perfect villa that felt like home ❤️ + We stayed in Villa Delight with our four kids and it was perfect. The design of the villa, the furniture, it was handcraft and all of an outstanding quality. The environment was quiet. We just loved it and we really want to come back. It was on a good distance from Ubud.
