Beautiful property but terrible hygiene and noise issues. + The property itself is beautiful, has huge potential, and the private pool at the villa was fantastic. − There was a huge construction site right under the restaurant’s nose, making meals unpleasant. Worse, we had a massive, nasty, 30cm rat running around our room every single evening. There was also a horrible sewage smell coming from the pipes, which drifted through the entire villa.

A terrific hotel located on the beachfront. Kind and attentive staff. + Location on the beachfront. Large room, open bathroom, close to the ocean. − Construction of the new boardwalk, thankfully the major works directly out front of the hotel have been completed. The view and access to the beach below not as good as previous.

Relaxing + The Bali Santi is a great place to stay beautiful pool overlooking the ocean rooms are lovely. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay there.

+ We really enjoyed our stay. The bungalows are tastefully designed and kept impeccably clean — you can tell the staff care about the details. The location is excellent: the ocean is just steps away, so even though the promenade is currently under renovation, it didn't spoil the experience at all. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves every night was easily the highlight of the trip. − One thing that could be improved: the Wi-Fi signal was weak in our room. A couple of additional repeaters or access points around the property would make a big difference for guests who need to stay connected.
