Really lovely apartment in a gated estate. + Generous size apartment with own pool. Resort is beautifully kept and there is access to clubhouse with good gym and lovely communal pool. There is also a buggy service to drive you to the resort restaurants. Staff were very helpful and buggy service was very quick and efficient. − The apartment needed redecorating in some areas.

+ The private pool was a great addition. The apartment is overall very nice - great to hang out with friends and family. − Overall - the apartment was great, service was awesome. There are a few things that host needs to take care of. The TV doesn't work. The picture goes off after about 10 minutes while the sound is on. It happens everytime you turn on TV. Not enough trashbags and/or tissue in the apartment.

+ Fantastic value. Easy access to all the excellent facilities in Ayana via the buggy (less the pools, which we didn’t need since we got a private one), and very responsive concierge service via the room phones and whatsapp. Great stay!!

Memorable and pleasant stay + The surrounding is very serene and quiet − I got locked out from the unit, and the master key is unable to unlock it. It took around 20mins to get it finally resolved

Picturesque resort, very friendly staff, but there were restrictions on our access to the facilities + The breakfast buffet had alot of variety representing different cuisines. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Unfortunately breakfast could not be included in our booking at the Residences apartment, so it became a significant cost during the course of our stay − The unexpected restrictions on the facilities we could use at this very large resort. We were advised on arrival that our booking did not permit us to use all pools, spas and recreational facilities. We were permitted to use the Residences and Rimba facilities. We tried to access the inclinator to visit the ocean pool, but were told we needed an Éxperience card' and our access was declined . On following up we were advised that because we used an agent (Booking.com) we were not given the 'Experience card' by Ayana. This is only available if you book directly with Ayana resort. This was extremely disappoint…

+ Spacious room. Nice view. Quick buggy service to Ayana resort. − Facility is a bit old (even though most products seem high quality), Not close to go to Ayana resort w/o buggy peak service. (Might need more waiting time in peak season.)

Probably wouldn't stay again, location not great and third bedroom inadequate + The two pools available to the Residences are amazing! Access to those made our stay so much better! The buggy service was excellent. The size of the villa is huge except for the 3rd bedroom. − We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa however the third bedroom was terrible. It was at the back of the villa behind the kitchen and laundry and it was a very depressing room. Unfortunately not clearly depicted in the photo's, had I realized I would not have stayed there.

Great place.. + Great place to relax, with loads of resturants to choose from, 3 bedroom appartment with private pool was excellent. Washing machine and cooker came in very hand. Would recommend going to markets and getting breakfast items.

Disappointed + Apartment was very spacious, and staff was friendly and helpful, and the private pool was lovely. And the grounds are beautifully kept. Resort staff were excellent. − Everything looked very tired, really needs a refresh, wallpaper was peeling in several places. Dishwasher did not work. Very funky smell in all the toilets. Resort App did not work for us as we booked through Booking.com, made things more complicated to navigate. Charged us 1,000,000 Indonesian rupiah for mattress on the floor for 4 nights, they did inform us of the charge, but we had little choice and wasn't for an extra person. We paid up front for the apartment no refunds, so no options.
