Better than expected + The apartment unit is excellent, nicely design, and comfortable. It was better than expected. While some reviews were a bit negative about the constructions around the apartment, there was no problem when I stayed there. And the place is only 5 mins walk to the beach. − The location is a bit remote

Fine if you only want to sleep there + Clean and comfortable bedroom and living room − Bathroom and second bedroom had windows that were not sealed to the outdoors so it was humid and there were a ton of ants in the bathroom. The AC in the master bedroom also made a loud noise sometimes.

It was nice for the location in Canguu + The staff was very welcoming and supportive during my stay, − This is not the hotel's fault but there was a lot of construction next to and around the property so it was very noisy.

Very poor + It was clean − We stayed for 4 nights for the last few days of a month long trip. The hotel was relatively expensive but thought we’d stay somewhere a bit nicer for the last few days. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with our stay. The room was clean but bang average in terms of facilities. The ‘rice fields view’ is a myth, there are building works at all 4 corners and the location is terrible. The diggers start up at 9am and continue for the whole days. The location is poor being at least a 10 minute bike journey to the centre along a dirt track. The staff were very friendly but pretty useless with everything. Even to the extent that we asked if we could book an airport transfer and they turned round and said they were not able to arrange it. One night, I accidentally left my bag and key in a restaurant. The restaurant closed before we realised. Got back to the hotel assuming they would have a master key- no master key and no spare. They made us sleep on sun …

Pleasant + Good location. Very close to the beach and restaurants, you can walk to the beach and restaurants Quiet location. Underground parking for cars. Responsive staff − There is construction going on right in front of the hotel. The hotel is not very old, but it is not modern. For a soiled towel asked for extra payment of 1$ at the price of 90€ per day) does not look like 4 stars

Very pleasant and clean place to stay at + Friendly and helpful staff. Clean facility, spacious 2 bedroom appt. With the discount that was offered, the price was very good. − I was hoping for a bigger breakfast. We had basic toast and croissant with some fruit and yogurt and coffee or tea. Good enough, but a nice buffet, or full breakfast menu would be better. But I'm not complaining. One more thing. It is a 2 BR Appt, but with one large Bathroom to share. It was convenient enough for me and my son. But 2 set of couples would have a problem.

Nice property in a rural location. You need your own transport. Don’t book the 2 room apartment as the other room is not + The staff were very nice and helpful. When we said to the manager about the location he offered us a full refund but booking. Com did not get back to the manager or myself despite 4 phone calls and 11 messages. − The second room in the apartment was not suitable for an adult. This was a hallway with a bed in it. The location is not in Canggu it is 37 mins drive away. The breakfast is very basic tea/coffee slice toast, 3 pieces of fruit and yogurt. Anything else extra charge. Breakfast/ Dining room very small. There are several buildings being constructed around this property which is a pity as they will have no view of the sea.

Very good + Great big rooms with nice views of the rice fields and volcanoes in the distance on one side of the property, the a/c is good and the location is nice, away from the bustle but close to get to. − There really is a LOT of construction. The price is high considering how disruptive that is.

Terrible + Nothing! Don't recommend to stay here because of terrible construction works! − The huge construction works just in front of seaside rooms. It is not just some construction nearby. It takes place just in front of all windows! The views in the photos in the website is fake. It was real 3 years ago. Now you will see only the garbage, the construction and the workers. And be sure that you will hear them as well. The rice field view is also bad because it is view to the construction as well. You should call this property "Double View Garbage Contraction Mansions". I was very disappointed both with the property and with the response of managers while I was complaining about this scam. Don't be fooled by beautiful pictures, they are very far away from reality. It was the worst value for money ever!

Very much enjoyed our stay + Modern and spacious. Large comfortable bed. Air conditioning worked well, lots of hot water, good water flow from shower, internet was fast (easy to stream). Our fridge stopped working but they replaced it with a new one straight away. − A little far from restaurants. The double views are no longer quite as represented on the web site as both views are now either partially or totally obscured by new construction. Lots of construction in the area.

+ They advertised as ocean view on their rooms but the rooms only had a construction view facing a big wall with blue tarp. I paid for our special day thinking it is an ocean view room per their class info on Expedia. Even though their room pictures did not show ocean, when the room desc says ocean side what would you think. I wasted my special day and money on this place. Felt scammed.

Disappointing + The staff were friendly and it was clean. Location is close to the beach. − Not well maintained. The wooden boards around the pool were rotten and dangerous. The pictures online were not the same as the room booked. The ping pong table was broken. The kitchen is not equipped even to prepare a snack. There is construction both sides of the property which is not mentioned on booking.com. Was not possible to cancel and move elsewhere. When the drinking water bottle ran out Sunday afternoon, I had to wait until Monday morning before it was replaced due to lack of staffing. There is no property manager and all concerns were met with I’m sorry rather than addressing the actual issue.

A nightmare in a remote location + There was nothing to like. − The location was isolated and a long way from anything. As for a double view - there was a view of a building under construction next door. The second room was windowless while the bed and surrounding concrete structure was infested with ants. The main bedroom was characterless and unappealing and the construction of the bed featured sharp corners that were hazardous and at the perfect level to catch the weary traveller on the shins. The mattresses were hard and the bedding wasn't fresh. It smelled strongly of cheap, high perfumed detergent. The sofa was just plain grubby. There was a kitchen area but it was barely equipped. On our arrival, rather late thanks to the "free transport" being 30 minutes late to pick us up, we were met with 5 armed security guards and no reception staff. Scary!
