A lovely unique stay + The resort is situated on a slope leading down to the river, which not only provides the most beautiful views but is also reflected in its stunning multi-level architectural design. This ensures that, no matter where you are e.g. room, pool, yoga area, you can always enjoy the scenery. The resort is unique and full of character, with art pieces thoughtfully placed throughout the property. There are facilities for everyone, including a pool, yoga area, bridge, library, table tennis, and much more, offering great enjoyment for both adults and children. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, both in the lobby and in the restaurant, where the food was thoroughly enjoyable. Everything was just lovely, and I can highly recommend a stay at Tanah Merah.

A Frangipani Garden Art Delight + I honestly can’t believe why more people are not here! Beautiful garden resort with frangipanis falling, art and sculptures everywhere. Romantic setting for dinner. Villa so traditional! Look Up Peter Bloch the Jungle Dentist! Quite the story. A forgotten gem! − Our Bathroom had very steep steps so that was difficult for me. Walk to waterfall a bit treacherous so maybe avoid that.

+ We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel with an incredible atmosphere! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and we felt very well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! We stayed in a Classic room with a private veranda — beautiful, cozy, and full of authentic Balinese character. It felt like we were staying not just in a hotel, but in a historic place, almost like a museum of Balinese culture. The grounds are absolutely stunning — spacious, lush, and surrounded by tropical greenery, with breathtaking views of the jungle and a river flowing below. Everything is peaceful, beautiful, and immersed in nature. This is a place where you can truly feel the spirit of Bali. We loved our stay!

+ El entorno exterior es, sin duda, lo mejor de Tanah Merah Art Resort. Los jardines, las vistas, la arquitectura y el ambiente tienen muchísimo encanto y hacen que el lugar tenga un potencial enorme. Precisamente por eso, la experiencia resulta más decepcionante cuando entras en las habitaciones. El estado de algunas instalaciones está claramente por debajo de lo que uno espera por el precio: se nota falta de mantenimiento, problemas con el agua caliente y el aire acondicionado, malos olores en el baño y poco aislamiento acústico. También tuvimos problemas con mosquitos debido a las ventanas. Las zonas exteriores son bonitas y tienen una atmósfera especial, pero algunas instalaciones necesitan más cuidado y mantenimiento. La piscina tampoco nos transmitió siempre la sensación de limpieza que esperábamos. En resumen, lo de fuera nos gustó mucho más que lo de dentro. El entorno es precioso y la arquitectura tiene mucho potencial, pero las habitaciones y el mantenimiento general hace…

Enjoyable stay for family travelling with teenagers + We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The host and staff were so friendly and helpful. The location worked for us, however you are limited to restaurant options unless you take a taxi. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed the swimming pools, table tennis, darts, gym and pool table. Our room had no hot water, however our second room did, so we were able to use the kids shower.
