Nice hotel with a good city view + I stayed here for a week while I was waiting for my travel visa to be processed to another country. The staff at this hotel is exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The views from the rooms are really beautiful and the cleaning staff was very attentive. − The gym is not air conditioned, and the swimming pool is next to the smoking patio so when I walked by the pool some kids were swimming there breathing in the smoke. Also you have to walk through the restaurant to get to the gym so the layout is a bit strange, you don't want to walk through where people are eating when you are sweaty in gym clothes. My biggest annoyance was the layout of the parking lot. You have to drive in a circle all the way around the shopping mall to access the entrance to the building. The grab drivers had a hard time finding it to drop me off so I had to keep explaining it. This is not the fault of anyone working there but the layout of the building and parking are really poo…

Erg prettig verblijf. + Vriendelijk personeel, goed verzorgd ontbijt, nette kamers, hotel ligt aangrenzend aan een kleine mall. − Er is 1 in- en uitgang voor auto's. Hierdoor staat het regelmatig vast, omdat winkelend publiek er wordt afgezet en wordt opgehaald. Niet erg praktisch.

+ This is an extraordinary design hotel, with some beautiful folkloric details. In South Jakarta – whether this location is ideal or not may depend on the purpose of your visit in Jakarta. It suited me perfectly. The hotel is situated in the Darmawangsa Square mall, inter-connected with internal doors form the lobby: the mall tiny for Jakarta standards, but with refined fashion boutiques, tailor for quality clothing, restaurants and cafes, supermarket, pharmacy, money changer, etc. Within 30 minutes ride (traffic jam can make things a nightmare sometimes, though) you reach the Block M, grand stylish Senayan Mall with cinemas, coolest bars of Gunawarman area, many museums and galleries. The post office branch is 3 minute walk away. The northern entertainment hub of Jakarta and some other important locations may be far, up to 1 hour or more ride, but generally I find this location very satisfactory.
