+ Had a great 3-night stay at the Marriott Hotel Batam! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic—so many options and everything was fresh and delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile and making us feel welcome. The location is also excellent, convenient and close to everything we needed. The price was not cheap, but affordable. Only two reasons I’m giving 4 out of 5 stars is because the room style felt a bit dated and the faulty keyless room entrance. They promised to send an engineer to fix the issue (we almost requested to re-program the card 3-4 times every day) but they didn’t —a refresh would make this place perfect. Still, overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come back!

Classy, modern and clean hotel with friendly staff + The breakfast provides a lot of varieties of food, but the local dessert with the kwehs can definitely be better. The hotel staff are all very friendly and nice. We love the hotel facilities with nice spa, gym and nice pools. I especially like the altitude rooftop bar with nice ambience and scenery. Generally, I would recommend to stay in this hotel comparing to other 3 that I previously stayed in Batam − One annoying thing is the noisy crows at the pools due to uncleanliness of the ferry harbour.

+ Bf spread was v good. Staff was v friendly n helpful . Housekeeping was done promptly n water was replenished 2x a day. − Smoking area waa close the lvl1 lobby thats the only disadvantage.

+ Hotel connect to harbour bay so easy walk to hotel even if rain. Service officers at the counters in the check in lobby were pleasant . they allow early checkin and also allowed us later check out. The housekeeping team wrote message card and present us some complimentary hi tea cakes. Lounge area and bar have good views. Nothing much at lounge area during noon.Bed are comfortable.Overall a pleasant stay.

+ Friendly and helpful staff − The room allocated to us was right above the ballroom and the sound coming from the ballroom was extremely loud and unbearable. Thankfully, the manager agreed to change our room and upgraded us to a higher and better room. Grateful for the upgrade.
