+ El hotel está muy bien ubicado, se puede llegar al centro andando. El personal fue muy atento y amable en todo momento. La habitación y el baño grandes y bien equipados. Muy buen desayuno, variado y de calidad.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel + The view. − The furniture is very old and the hotel is clearly in need of renovation. Unfortunately, the photos online do not reflect the current condition of the property. The road to the hotel is quite unpleasant, as you have to drive/walk a long distance through an area surrounded by garbage. At breakfast, we requested a table and were asked every day whether we were smokers or non-smokers. We were told that smokers had priority for the first row of tables. However, once we arrived, we noticed every day that there was no one smoking in the first row, which made the seating policy rather confusing and frustrating. The hotel does not have a private beach with sun loungers and there is no beach with proper facilities nearby. It does provide access to the public ,,Impossible Beach”, but reaching it requires going down several steep, rusty and potentially dangerous stairs.

Bad. + I haven't had the opportunity to note a positive point. − I don’t even know where to begin, given the sheer number of flaws and issues at this hotel. There is a gigantic chasm between the standards of a five-star property—let alone comparing it to other hotels in the same price bracket—and the actual experience on the ground. The front desk is terribly mismanaged. Sometimes there is only one person working the entire counter. Upon entering the room, the bathroom door squeaks, and the balcony door creaks just as badly, due to dust and small pebbles getting caught in the tracks. The shower head is broken and won’t pivot. The toilets are also old and dilapidated—honestly, they are the worst I have ever seen in any five-star hotel I’ve stayed at. The food on-site is poor, and the selection is extremely limited. For dinner at the 360 restaurant, the half-board menu offered with the room is simply ridiculous—it’s not even enough for one person. Not to mention the atmosphere, which …

+ We had a wonderful stay at Svanata Resort Bali and were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The welcome was lovely, and all of the staff throughout our stay were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. Our room was very comfortable, and the pool was a great place to relax. The resort itself is huge, with beautiful, well-maintained grounds that make it feel very peaceful and spacious. Breakfast was definitely a highlight. There was a fantastic variety of food to choose from, and the views while having breakfast were absolutely amazing. We also ordered room service, which was beautifully presented and thoughtfully laid out for us. It was the little touches like this that really stood out. When our room was being made up, the staff even left a cute little towel monkey on our bed, which was such a lovely surprise! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Svanata Resort Bali to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with beautiful surroundings, …
