Spectacular floor to ceiling views from a beautiful and comfortable abode. + A beautiful villa with beautiful views over Strahan’s waterways. The villa was perfectly prepared, beautifully appointed and a beautiful haven between adventures on the West Coast. Loved it.

Would definitely recommend as the best place to stay In Strahan. Hope I get to return one day!! + Staying at the Wheelhouse was amazing. The view was stunning, the accommodation was clean and comfortable. You don't tire of enjoying that view! Plenty of space for 4 of us to enjoy. − Nothing to dislike.

Property had fantastic views. + Awesome views, I think the best you could find in Strahan. − Due to the popularity of this house, this property is very tired. The beds are uncomfortable and sunk in the middle with bed linen not up to scratch. Not all windows have coverings and the property next door is only meters away. This property could do with lots of maintenance to refresh it.

The view is everything!! + The view is the standout feature of this place, the windows both up and downstairs are fantastic. The furnishings are dated and worn, has that over used feel. The kitchen and appliances are up to date and it’s a lovely kitchen to use and tasteful. There is a coffee machine but no beans are supplied so be sure to bring. The big spa is great! − That the price doesn’t match the furnishings and it really needs a deep spring clean. No head board on the bed which isn’t such a bad thing but the wall behind and under the bed is getting grubby. Bedding and pillows are basic, recommend taking your own pillows if you can. Downstairs is a great area and the view is unparalleled. I would certainly still stay here again it just wasn’t as luxe as I thought it might be.
