+ Really nice experience from check in to Check out (including the good breakfast); room was really nice, clean and comfortable. It's the little things that help! such as it was great to have water in the room and fresh toilet rolls!!

Quaint courtyard and nice atmosphere + Very nice friendly atmosphere and staff were very helpful. A special thanks to Summer who kindly posted a couple of items I had left in my room. Beautiful courtyard would definitely stay again.

+ Expectations should be tempered by the fact that this is a 300 y.o. building on a very busy road in the middle of town. Bearing that in mind the hotel is very clean and full of character which makes up for any of the above. They no longer do evening meals but the breakfasts are epic.

Lovely little Gem + Lovely little gem - my room was in good condition given very old building and slept well and thoroughly enjoyed my full English breakfast! Staff very attentive and friendly

+ Nice old building, lovely receptionists, no heating in the room or bathroom when outside temperature was 4 C - freezing cold inside

+ Car parking is a farce , you have to pay and display in the car park 7.00 AM- 6.00pm , so if you check at 2.00pm you are charged £5.00 to park up to 6.00 PM . The biggest hassle is you then have to pay again from 7.AM the next morning so you have to set your alarm to make the payment on time
