Perfect for a short stay + Restaurant on ground floor had some nice food − Lack of lift and for someone claustrophobic the room can be an issue as they are very small. If you have extra luggage, you will have to leave them in the corridor due to lack of space

+ "I had a great stay at Hotel Elphinstone! The room was wonderful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Both the washroom and the seating area were very spacious. I also loved the excellent cupboard space. Everything felt superb and roomy!" − The only major downside is that there is no parking available for cars. If you are driving yourself, keep this in mind!"

British Raj place for very good price + It's an old British Raj hotel, which still retains that era. Excellent service, very polite and friendly staff. Great value for money.

+ The staff nice − The location is not great. The room is in bad shape with bad roof with rust and fungi. The toilet of almost broken with no exuhst fan. The floor os old. The breakfast not a buffet and less varities set controlled menu

Great value, great staff, delicious breakfast! + The staff here were fabulous. From when we arrived, everyone was welcoming and on hand for any requests. We managed to check in an hour or so earlier (as they had availability) but if you can't, it's easy enough to leave your luggage. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and rooms were clean. We had breakfast with our booking and you can choose from the menu which differs each day. The chef's poached eggs were absolutely delicious and other options also tasty. Plugs close to the beds were good too. A few restaurants and shops below so you can pick up water etc. Overall, pleased with this stay. − Not close to easy public transport so needed to get taxis.
