Overall, it was nice to visit. We will most likely stay there again if we happen to visit Rattanakiri. + For the location and age of the property, it is decent. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable. They did really good preserving the charm of the old style houses but if you are looking for something more modern this place is not it. − There are gaps in the door that will allow creepy crawlers to come in so if you are afraid of bugs and insects this place is not for you.

It's a beautiful place but dilapidated, the price-quality ratio is not good. + the place is very beautiful, the gardens are lush. the pool is very large and the bedding was very firm, to our taste. − the price is very high given the service offered. the room was very dark and damp (traces of mold and water damage?). we could not get wifi in the room. the soundproofing was non-existent. (we were under the pool table of the governor's suite, it's as if they were playing pool in our bed).

NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! + Breakfast is okay. − The room is very pricy. They changed our room that we made reservations to different room without notifying us in advance. It was available while we booked. That room that they changed has broken door lock and dirty bathroom and bathtub isn’t working. I don’t know why they gave us that room. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! They kept us waiting until late night and decided to change us to another room. At least they should’ve provided us solution quickly.

Great location but poor amenities. + The location was quite central and in front of the lake and on a main road. However it was quiet and peaceful. − The room was old and a bit dusty (and more dusty in certain areas, like the lamps and the headboard of the bed). The amenities were too old and lacking maintenance, like the shower head was clogged so it didn't spray water well. The pool was not maintained and out of service. The door lock was only the knob and nothing else. It's about time for an upgrade for everything.

Un séjour magnifique au bord du lac de Banlung dans un cadre enchanteur + Le cadre magnifique. La salle de bains en plein air. La décoration raffinée. La gentillesse du personnel. La belle rencontre avec la propriétaire qui est passionnée par son projet à Airavata. Les repas et le très bon petit déjeuner. La situation au bord du lac. Nous avons adoré cet hôtel − Tout était bien!

Moldy ceilings, bathrooms that smelled like urine, dirty pillows, no soap, dirty towels, mildew smell, brown sink water, + The attitudes of the staff were so unpleasant. It was mainly with the management. − Our one night stay at the Terres Rouges Lodge was a horrible experience and one we hope nobody else will ever have to experience. Stay away from this hotel!! The pictures are misleading and this hotel is mismanaged. Bed Bugs, Mold, Mildew, stay away!! For starters we were charged $61 USD each night for a falsely advertised hotel that should be ranked a 2 star definitely not a 4 star. This hotel is a dying business and they treat their customers disrespectfully. Our first room had a stench and an electrical problem so they moved us to another room. The second room was much worse! It came with two towels that smelled like mildew, distilled vinegar, and human waste. When we asked for new towels, they made it seem like it was okay and they would replace them but when we got to the…

Geweldig maar met groot minpunt hard en oud matras met veren. + Mooie koloniale stijl en goed aangelegde en onderhouden tuin. In de kamer was de badkamer geweldig met een groot bad en een douche in de buitenlucht. Met bankje, bureau en tafel. Zag er supergaaf uit!! − Wat onwijs tegenviel was het matras….deze was zo hard als een plank en als je erop lag dan staken de veren in je rug of heupen. Hierdoor vreselijk slecht geslapen. Echt heel Erg jammer want de rest was echt geweldig! Maar dit gaf zo’n negatieve ervaring dat ik dus geen hoge score geef. Als er een nieuwe matras zou komen zou mijn score een 9 zijn minimaal

Fantastic gem in Ban Lung, Ratanakiri + Fantastic gem in Ratanakiri. Greatest place that I stayed during my travels in Cambodia. Highly recommended. I am coming back. Beautiful bungalows set in a lovely garden. Great food and wonderful staff.
