+ We enjoyed our stay a lot. It is undescribable to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the jungle. The cabanas are basic, but clean. You are in the middle of the Amazon rainforest, so don't be picky and don't wonder if you have animals in the cabana. But it is a unique experience. We loved our guide Carlos, who showed us the flora and fauna and the way the Amazon people live. He has great knowledge and speaks good english. The food was delicious especially for lunch and dinner. The portions are huge. − It would be great to have more vegetables and fruits for breakfast, especially if you are not used to eat eggs and bacon for breakfast, since that was our breakfast on all 3 mornings.

Gelbert el encargado de la atención a los huéspedes en Ämak es muy simpático y servicial. − Las actividades me resultaron poco interesantes, porque no se tenía en cuenta el clima para optimizar el aprovechamiento de la actividad. Sino que todo ya está organizado sin opciones de cambios. Las lanchas con las que nos transportamos por el río son ruidosas y eclipsan la experiencia de navegar por el Amazonas disfrutando del maravilloso entorno.

A rustic experience of a lifetime, but improvements are needed + The staff and guides were so incredibly kind and accommodating. The excursions were very fun and interesting. We had so many fun experiences—fishing, monkeys, sloths, trees, giant lily pads, native communities. And the food is delicious! It was the trip of a lifetime, truly. − This is a rustic remote location and people seem to understand that. But there are still some reasonable suggestions we had for improvement: 1. Our cabin didn't have a toilet seat. That's unacceptable. 2. The cabins don't have fans. The heat is sweltering and makes it difficult to sleep. Upgraded solar panels would allow all-night electricity for a bedroom fan. 3. Meals are very far apart from one another, and there are no snacks. 4. This was billed as an all-inclusive, but then beer and soda were extra. 5. We understood having to pay extra for a private boat, but the costs were insanely expensive. 6. Increible! + El trabajo del equipo es excellent. Mamerto, Julio el Chef the panama son increibles. La comida es deliciona con un sabor selvatico, las excurciones son autenticas y muy relajadas. IMPORTANTE! LLEVAR elementos que pueden servir a las tribus que se visitan como cuadernos, lapiceras remedios y todo lo que nos parezca util para gente que vive en la selva. Incredible place, very comfortable + Incredible experience. Bed was comfy equipped with mosquito net and cabins were clean and surprisingly bug free. Staff were friendly and the lodge is stunning. Our guide Carlos was brilliant. A truly magical experience and seamless from start to finish, would absolutely recommend Amak. − The food was good but as a vegetarian i had to explain this a few times when they gave me meat after which they served me vegetarian food apart from one night where i was served fried rice full of tiny bits of sausage that i had to pick around.

+ I think this was probably our favourite stay in the whole of south america. The accommodation was very basic but the whole package with the numerous excursions and interesting local food was perfect. Definitely will book another place or would be back only if I see they do a change on the experience and also help peopl − My stay cost around $1,000 for two people for 4 days and 3 nights. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet expectations, and I cannot recommend this place. Logistics and Hidden Costs: Our flight arrived at 1 p.m., which meant that the car and Amazon River boat transfer were not included. We had to pay an additional $200+. The hotel insisted this fee goes directly to the local workers, but when we spoke to the staff, they mentioned they do not receive any extra benefits or additional compensation from the company. This felt dishonest. Facilities and Safety: While I understand the "eco-lodge" concept, the structural condition of the lodge is very poor. The "walls" are made of mosquito netting, but they were not properly sealed, leaving large gaps where animals could easily enter. Furthermore, since there is no electricity and the lodge only provides power for one…

En suverän guidning till en annan värld! + Carlos! Jag säger bara Carlos! Han var vår guide under vår 3/2 vistelse. Kan verkligen rekommendera 3 dagar/2 nätter paketet. Ett lugnt men ändå innehållsrikt program som ger allt. Natur, upplevelser och kultur. Men som sagt, Carlos, vilken man! Han tog oss verkligen som individer och inte turister. Vi fick vara med honom när han gjorde det han gjort under ett helt liv i djungeln och det han tycker om. Faktiskt en annan känsla än när någon visar mig saker att göra. Bara pirayafiske! Han kör igång och fiskar, som han gjort sedan barnsben. Vips kommer det upp en piraya! Han ger oss varsitt spö, lite kött att agna med och säger, nu kan ni pröva! Han lånar ut sin lilla kanot som jag vingligt tar mig fram med. Han tar oss till byar och människor som precis som vi går till jobbet, till kindergarten eller skola om dagarna, men mitt i djungeln. Han hittar diverse drycker och matbitar i byn som vi bara "måste" pröva. Med viss skepsis, men oj vilken up…

Une idee du parafis + Le lieu- les excursions le staff.. en revanche y a eu un petit cafouillage à la reservation qui n'a pas pu etre resolu. Seul bemol − Le cafouillage à la reservation- on me dit qu'on me rembourse et finalement non, mais j'avais deja fait les modifications

+ L’hôtel bénéficie d’un très bon emplacement et le personnel et les guides sont vraiment gentils et accueillants. Les repas sont également très bons, ce qui est un vrai point positif. − Malheureusement, j’ai été déçue par le rapport qualité-prix. Le tarif est beaucoup trop élevé par rapport aux prestations proposées et surtout au niveau de propreté, qui n’était clairement pas à la hauteur de ce que l’on peut attendre pour ce prix. J ai trouvé aussi un manque d information sur les activités. C’est dommage, car l’emplacement, la gentillesse du personnel et la qualité des repas sont de vrais atouts. Avec une meilleure propreté et un tarif plus adapté aux prestations, l’expérience aurait été bien meilleure.
