Für einen einmaligen Aufenthalt in Leeuwarden toll. + Die Lage zur Stadt ist Top. Parkhaus gleich um die Ecke. Interessantes Objekt. Bei uns war es recht ruhig was die anderen Gäste anbelangt. − Die Lüftung im Bad konnte man stoppen - die im Zimmer selbst leider nicht. Das ist sehr schade - dadurch hört man die Lüftung 24 Stunden.

+ Super sauber, einfach Ausstattung (ist ja auch ein Gefängnis), kein Schnickschnack, tolle Leute, solides Frühstück. Einfach einzigartig.

Definitely different but good + Hotel is a little on the wild size. It's a former prison and the inside has been left almost completely intact from when it was a prison. That prison landings, the thick cell doors and the spartan rooms are very atmospheric. Leeuwarden is a nice Dutch town and certainly worth visiting for a night. − It is meant to be a jail but maybe slightly more facilities in the rooms?

+ Heel vriendelijk personeel. Allles was brandschoon. En natuurlijk de hele locatie van het hostel in de voormalige gevangenis. Echt leuk om mee te maken. In de cel heb je geen luxe, het is heel basic. Maar ik merkte dat ik dat juist fijn vond, want zo heb je weinig prikkels. Toilet en douche op de gang was ook goed te doen en heel schoon. Ontbijt was goed. Gewoon een normaal ontbijt. Het was er rustig. Ik heb heel goed geslapen. Hele goede prijs kwaliteit. Echt een aanrader voor een unieke ervaring! − Niks. Alles was super!

Verlängerung meines Aufenthaltes ohne Probleme + Da ich meinen Aufenthalt in Leeuwarden um einen Tag verlängern wollte, hab ich problemlos mein Zimmer um eine Nacht verlängern können.

Besuch Nummer 2 + Nachdem ich das Hostel schon im Februar mal bezogen hatte, kam ich mit einem sehr guten Gefühl wieder hier her zurück. Dieses Mal hatte ich mich aber für das Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad entschieden und auch hier wurde ich nicht enttäuscht. Die Duschen sind separat gehalten und man kann diese auch absperren. Die Toiletten waren ebenfalls sauber. Wie schon beim letzten Mal hab ich optional Frühstück dazu geaddet und auch das hat gepasst.

+ It is an interesting experience to be locked in a prison cell (no worries you can get out of it at any time). The whole building is interesting! Everything was clean and breakfast was good!
