+ It's calm and right on the ocean panorama infinity pool and value and position that you can't get any where on the island Koh Samui is an expensive island but the resort was a great deal can't refuse I paid $409 Australia dollars including breakfast daily same crystal brook equivalent in Australia you pay $500 a night which I think this lagoon out beat crystal brook in Byron bay by miles in value and location

Nice View + I loved the rooms at Escape Beach Resort, they were very comfortable and clean, the bathrooms were updated and very nice. The location of the hotel is far from the main road and you have to hike down to get to the resort. It was a nice place to stay right on on beach.

+ We really enjoyed our time here. Hightide the water came right up to the steps by thr pool, the wait staff was lovely, abd the front desk was very helpful Only thing is that there isnt anything around the resort, besides other resorts. If you have a bike or can rent one this place is great. We would come back!

+ Although we only stayed here for two nights, my sister and I enjoyed our stay at the Escape Beach Resort as the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and the restaurant was good for dinner and supper. The only downside of the hotel is it’s location as it’s situated down a very steep hill and some narrow roads which are quite scary to drive on.Taxis also cost more to come pick you up at the hotel as they have to drive down the steep hill. If you do stay there, consider renting a car with the company they are affiliated with as the staff is extremely kind and will send you tips on what to see on the island!

Jump off point for ferries to Ko Tao & Ko Pha Ngan + Located out of town on the far end of Mae Nam beach, it’s close to the ferry terminal making it the perfect spot to transit from (still 15 minutes in a Taxi), it’s affordable, private and relaxed and has a lovely pool over looking a small piece of private swimmable beach. The accommodation is nice with rooms and bungalows available, our bungalow had a fridge, safe, good bed, hot shower and complimentary tea, coffee and water. The staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast was included and was very generous, overall good value for money.

Great inexpensive, semi-local resort, out of the tourist are to a degree, north beaches are clean, quiet. Thanks Escape + Great out of the way localish resort, but high quality, Staff were amazing and friendly. Food so so fresh at restaurant, bungalows cute nice quality and basic. TV useless tho Can get local scooter for easy cruise to other local shops, massage, gym and bars, bit further for Chaweng, I took car 500TB, didnt want 20mins traffic on scooter. You could go here and not leave the resort for 3-4 days, which I barely did leave

Good for value, you can find better + In general, the hotel was good in relation to the price we paid, which was relatively low for Koh Samui. The hotel staff was nice and the food in the restaurant is excellent and the prices are good. The rooms were fine overall and also clean. The view from the hotel was amazing and you can see beautiful sunsets and the pool is also very nice. but…..! The rooms were small and there are some cockroaches from time to time. It is not a good time to arrive at the hotel because it is under construction and from 9 in the morning you can hear drilling both in the rooms and right on the pool and it is very disturbing. Not only is the noise disturbing but also the walk from the parking lot to the room was dangerous because of the construction. The location of the hotel is very bad, impossible to get there if you don't rent a car or motorbike and even a bit dangerous.

Construction site, no pool, no restaurant, no massage + If you are planning on staying here over the next couple months, please don't. Due to construction work there is no pool, no restaurant, no massage. Not to mention your room is in the middle of a very active construction site. We only stayed for one night so it wasn't too bad for us. If you are staying here for any longer you will not have a good time at all. I believe we did get the room for a cheaper rate than usual. However, we were not notified about the closures or construction before arrival. P.S. We had cockroaches in our room.

Great stay + Excellent stay, very close to W beach. The room had comfortable beds, clean linen, tv and fridge as well as a kettle for coffee or tea. Great breakfast. Staff was very accomodating. I needed some help when I arrived and they were very helpful.

Zen and Beautiful! + It's so nice when you arrive at the pool area and you see the beautiful view! You immediately unwind. You feel you are in Paradise. Staff are nice, food excellent, and inexpensive. The room clean and comfortable with wifi and Netflix, you tube, etc. There is a store onsite. The location is far from the main road, you must take a taxi. The pillows are hard. Some beach chairs are metal and hard. The beach disapears at hight tide. But besides that, it is perfect and the vibe is smooth! Great soft music playing creating a relaxing atmosphere.

Enjoyable. + How to ruin good vibes. Escape Beach Resort is an excellent destination for Koh Samui. Idyllically situated on the beach on the border of Maenam and Bophut, the lively part of Samui is easily accessible. The cottages are also clean and tastefully decorated, with good beds, a good shower, good (quiet) air conditioning, peaceful and quiet, with a swimming pool and fresh breakfast. You can also rent a scooter there, but beware that its price is higher than elsewhere (300 Baht per day). What was unfortunate was that they offered a free cab to the airport the day before we left, if we would give the resort a rating of 9 on booking.com (rating is everything). I wanted to, but that's only possible when booking.com asks you to give a review. And that's only after checking out and leaving. That is making someone happy with a dead sparrow and resulted in annoyance at the end. Then you still don't leave with good sense. Too bad! Not a 9 afterall. “Only” an 8.5.

DON’T BOOK THIS ONE! Hotel bribes guests in giving a good review! But it was the worst hotel in our trip :( + DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! THIS HOTEL PAYS YOUR TAXI IF YOU LEAVE A GOOD REVIEW (9 or 10). They bribe people in to leaving a good review :(. We are travelling in thailand with 4 kids, and this was by far the worst hotel in our trip. The staff is very very unfriendly, it’s very expensive in all services and the room is dirty and uncomfortable. It’s absolutely not safe for kids and because of the rusty bathroom and gaps in the floors it’s very dirty as well. We tried to solve this with the hotel, by giving them feedback, but they said it was not there fault.

The pool area is well-maintained, and the on-site restaurant offers delicious Thai and international dishes with beautiful ocean views. The only slight downside is that it’s a bit removed from the main hustle and bustle of Chaweng or Fisherman’s Village, so you’ll need a scooter or taxi to explore the island fully. But that also adds to the charm — perfect for travelers seeking relaxation and quiet. Would definitely stay…

Good value for money + Very nice pool and sea view. The restaurant is surprisingly good and staff at the restaurant very sweet. Sadly a stray dog is often walking around the tables. The rooms are nothing special, and looks like they are not finished or about to fall apart. Staff at reception could be more attentive.
