Vistas increíbles y atardeceres hermosos + La vista que tiene es espectacular, el personal es muy amable y los desayunos estuvieron muy ricos, te prestan sombrilla, cañas de pescar, tablas, etc. para disfrutar la playa, los cuartos son muy amplios y cómodos. − No hay elevador. La cama es muy blanda y en lo personal prefiero camas más rígidas.

Great escape in a truly bueatiful paradise + Ocean view was amazing - the daily viewings of humpback whales in the bay really helped! We also really liked that this hotel is independently owned, the beach is nice and sparsely populated, and the on-site amenities were splendid. − It was on the expensive side and, since we didn’t have a car, we were a little limited in where we could go. Having access to bikes helped!

I would stay there again. Very uncrowded and romantic. + The complimentary breakfast was excellent and filling. The location is great. − Rough country road from the highway to the hotel. It was about 1/4 mile.

Epic. If you can get a room here, get it and stay for at least 3 nights to escape the realities of life. + Exceptional location, lux hotel with boutique vibe. The rooftop pool and views are epic and since it’s a small hotel it feels like you have a private beach front home to yourself. Add the roof top bar and food service, with the happy and friendly staff, you’ve got a great combo to enjoy the best of Mexico. We spend many hours watching whale migrate north from the roof top and our balcony. It was very Special. The hotel kitchen is great for breakfast , lunch and dinner. And when you wanted something different you could just walk down the beach to El Barracuda restaurant for another beach vibe. − I can’t think of anything. We got stuck in mexico for extra days because the airport shut down so we spent an additional 4 nights here, and we had no complaints noting we are a family of 4.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home, and they continued to take exceptional care of us throughout our nine-day stay. This is a charming, intimate boutique hotel with a calm and beautiful atmosphere — perfect for a relaxing getaway. We were there with our family, and it was absolutely ideal. The hotel is beautifully located just steps from the beach and offers two lovely pools, which gave us great options for both quiet relaxation and family time. The food is truly outstanding. We enjoyed every single meal — breakfast each morning, delicious dinners, and wonderful lunches by the pool. This was my favourite spot in Mexico!! (Apart from Playa Bocana). We’d love to return!! + Ah well! Hotel Basalto reminds me of a favourite spot in Cornwall UK. Superb location, unbelievable views of uninterrupted coastline to the left & right. Just hits the spot! Hot (bodyboarding) surf if you hit the beach! Added bonus - heated roof top pool − Possibly a change of menu if staying for a longer period. However, the meals & breakfast were great, served beautifully by great conscientious staff!

A good stay! + The staff is extremely nice, with a very qualitative service. The restaurant in particular we did not expect such amazing food. Rooms are great and clean. We stayed one night there as a bridge as we were flying out early the next morning. It did the job perfectly. − Maybe a bit over pricy for what it is. Also not super well located, a bit isolated with a difficult road to access.

+ La vistas, pocas personas, porque es un poco pequeño e intimo el hotel, pero muy cómodo y bonito. Puedes accesar a varias playas y la llegada es muy fácil. El mapa T lleva sin problema, en general muy contento. − Todo exelente!

Buen hotel. + La vista y poca ocupación. − La habitación estaba limpia, pero encontré atrás de una de las camas un papel higiénico con sangre. Lastima. El hotel tiene elevado el precio para lo que ofrece.
