+ Shuttle service to Terminal 2 24/7. − Sought room with two beds. They gave me one with a king. When I saw and asked to change, informed me no two bed rooms available.

Book on-line rather than through the hotel. + This applies to all IHG hotels, not MSP specifically. I normally book directly through the hotel, instead of a 3rd party travel site. I contacted the IHG booking number by phone, to also discuss early check-in options. I spoke with a representative that I could barely understand, and received an initial rate that was 20% higher than the rate offered on-line. When I declined, she immediately reduced it to match the on-line rate. Then, she tried to refer me to vacation packages.

Outstanding location for business travelers and a lovely, welcoming staff (thanks, Ahmed)! + This is my first time staying at the Intercontinental MSP Airport hotel, although I travel to MSP regularly on business. Usually I stay close to my local office, but in this case I have to fly out very early, so I wanted something convenient to the airport. This place delivers, both in location and amenities, as well as in staff, especially the lovely and welcoming Ahmed (but more about him later). The hotel is connected to the airport via skyway, so I was able to walk directly from my terminal to the hotel (it is a bit of a hike, as I fly into terminal E and the hotel is accessed thru terminal C, but well worth it). The hotel also has its own security line, so I'll be able to go directly back into the terminal from the hotel in the morning - awesome! Checking in was easy thanks to Ahmed at the front desk, who not only welcomed me warmly, but ensured I was enrolled in the IHG loyalty progra…

Very expensive for not a lot of convenience + Clean, comfortable − It should not be considered "connected to the airport". It was just over a mile walk from my gate in F. I do not mind paying for the convenience of a connect airport hotel (DTW, MCO, ORD) but this hotel is not convenient to a large part of the airport. The front desk staff was rude, dismissive and had no idea how to navigate the airport. I asked the front desk if there was a quicker and more convenient way to get to the F gates other than walking. Both ladies told me that they didn't know and did not bother to look it up or provide any additional information. Will not stay there again.

Minnesota nice is a thing + Shout out to Mak and the team of the Intercontinental at MSP. It’s easy to access from Terminal 1 at the airport. Need a shuttle from 2. The team went the extra mile to help with transportation and location advice. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet despite be by the runway. Thanks for all the help.
