When I booked I didn’t realise there was no toilet or shower, which is my mistake for not checking but for $170 a night − For $170 per night I really thought this was way too expensive when there is no toilet or shower in the room

Premium price for a basic budget motel experience + I booked the motel through Qantas Hotels @$200 per night for a room. The room had a slightly musty smellon arrival . There was a microwave but nothing to cook food in, 2 cups one teaspoon and a jug. Shampoo etc was in wall mounted containers. There was one small container long life milk. I was dismayed to find that the rooms are only serviced once every seven days and I needed to take used towels etc to get replacements at receptionTThe motel is locked with an entry and exit gate that you need a code for. The staff were generally friendly and helpful . The motel is out of town so a car is needed -It was convenient for me as I had family in Kirwan and out of town. The rooms I was in was quiet and the bed was comfortable
