A beautiful surprise! + We were not familiar with the hotel (although later discovered it’s part of the Hilton SLH brand) and were absolutely blown away. Our two-bedroom river view suite had one attached bedroom (no separate window but a sliding door to the living room) and one gigantic master bedroom, each with its own bathroom. Add the spacious living, dining, and kitchen area and it was over 1,000 sq feet. Every comfort was provided, but the absolute, mind blowing attraction is the views. I could sit in the window seat all day and watch the rebello boats go buy on the river, or the lights coming on at night. We also loved the location, at the edge of the bustling Gaia tourist area but quiet and serene. We walked or took Ubers everywhere. We didn’t want to leave! Note: the hotel is in a series of renovated warehouses so the vibe is industrial and spacious. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Great hotel on best spot of Porto/Gaia + The Rebello is a great hotel to stay in while visiting Porto. Wonderful staff, great Riverside appartment with frontal view of Dom Louis I bridge and the old city. Breakfast is rich and tasteful as is the Pot & Pan restaurant. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Also liked the fitness room and sauna. All and all a great second stay.

Perfect hotel for our stay for my husbands 40th, exactly what we needed + We really enjoyed our stay, we were welcomed by the lovely Miguel and shown around the hotel. We stayed in a lovely suite with amazing views, rooms was clean and very very spacious, perfect after a long day exploring we could relax in our room which had kitchen amenities. Situated on the other side of the river to the city but it was a lovely walk with plenty restaurants and river entertainment, port tasting and we found a mercado which we found so cheap to eat and drink. The spa was relaxing; we got a 45 minute a lot which was enough. Breakfast was wonderful, you could chose from the buffet or order something fresh. We loved everything about this hotel and would definitely return, I’d recommend to everyone. We found the staff welcoming and helpful to answer any of our questions about there to go.

Wonderful new option in Porto + My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4-night stay The Rebello. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities one could want, including a hair diffuser, the first time I’ve ever seen one in any level of hotel room ever! We had reserved a one-bedroom unit that had a cooktop, small fridge and microwave. The best part was it had two bathrooms, so my husband and I didn't have to share. I imagine for a family with kids staying in the space, it would all be very desirable. They even provided complimentary bottles of wine and beverages in the room (if you want them replenished, there is a charge). A lovely buffet breakfast was included in the Pots & Pans restaurant. The staff was lovely, every member was helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They could easily order airport transportation, help with dinner reservations and give tourist advice. We eat in both restaurants, which were great options, and had a relaxing massage at the spa. We really had an enjoy…

Excellent hotel for a base when visiting Porto + The Rebello was absolutely perfect for our stay in Porto, and we’re really grateful we chose it. It’s set just across the river in Vila Nova de Gaia, in a quieter area that still has plenty of great restaurants and bars close by. We loved that we could enjoy the calm on the Gaia side and still be just a short walk over the Dom Luís I bridge from the heart of Porto. The service at the hotel was warm and attentive, and our room was comfortable and nicely appointed—everything felt thoughtfully done. One of our favorite spots was the rooftop bar and restaurant, which offers a beautiful, more peaceful view of Porto across the river. Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay and truly appreciated how well we were looked after. We would very happily stay at The Rebello again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Porto.

First class + From the time we arrived until we left, the staff were first class. There is absolutely nothing I can fault. The room was immaculate, unbelievably friendly. Whatever you wanted it was supplied. Food was exceptional and if you are lucky enough to be here when they are doing a wine tasting & Jazz night, highly recommended. Just make sure you are hungry, the food is exceptional. The views from the rooms are spectacular,

Best Hotel We Stayed in Portugal + Highly recommend the Rebello. It is a beautiful 15-20 minutes walk to the bridge! The location may look out of the way from downtown Porto but it's actually conveniently located. The view from the room and the rooftop is gorgeous. I used the SPA tranquil water room; the pool was too small, the jacuzzi is strong but the water was barely warm. It wasn't impressive. The breakfast was amazing. Good spread and made-to-order options were fantastic. We had a 3 bedroom suite and it was spacious and very new.

Porto Gem + This was a truly beautiful and modern hotel. We loved that we could have multiple bedrooms within a suite, perfect for our family. The furnishings and appliances were top notch. We had incredible views of the river from our room. We enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna one evening of our stay and LOVED the buffet breakfast. We also dined at Pots & Pans one evening and thought the food and presentation were excellent! Highly recommend this hotel and we would absolutely stay again.

Great stay, beautiful hotel, great location + Went away for 2 nights for my wife’s birthday. We had a lovely time. The hotel was beautiful with a fantastic view from our room looking over the river and the dom Luís bridge. We were looked after very well in the hotel with every member of staff more than happy to help and wanted to recommend things for us to do and try. Breakfast was really tasty and peaceful and the roof top bar had a lovely view and great food / drink. The hotel was located right next to the cable cars which took us to the top of the dom Luís bridge and was also very close to the main port tasting tours. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Amazing Stay in Porto with a Homely Touch + We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Rebello in Porto. The location is perfect, offering a beautiful view of Vila Nova de Gaia across the river. It's close enough to the main attractions but still peaceful enough to enjoy some quiet time. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They really go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, always with a smile. It’s clear they care about providing a personal touch and creating a comfortable environment for guests. Our room was clean, cozy, and had all the necessary amenities. Perfect escape + We come to Porto 3-4 times a year for family, and decided for Xmas to treat ourselves to a night in a hotel just us. (Get some space and relax). We were blown away! This is the best hotel we've stayed at in Portugal, not just Porto. We loved our room, the spa and the breakfast. All the little extras! So much so we booked to stay in Feb when we're back ...... just need to tell the family 😬 The gym is good for a hotel gym, although there was a big machine I couldn't work out. Thank you for not just making, but saving Christmas for me!

May 2025 + The Rebello exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful, clean, luxurious , in a great location, and the staff could not be any more accommodating. My daughter's boyfriend wanted to propose to her and the staff did everything to make the proposal happen. They helped him with every aspect of the proposal (rooftop, flowers, champagne) to make this special moment memorable. We would definitely come back and recommend The Rebello to any visitor to Porto.

完美的波尔图酒店 + My stay at The Rebello was absolutely exceptional. The design, blending industrial heritage with modern luxury, is stunning. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and the private balcony offered breathtaking views of the Douro River. A true highlight was the Satyam Wellness Club—the fact that access to the sublime indoor pool, sauna, and steam rooms is included is incredible. The "no swimwear" policy in the spa area allowed for a genuinely relaxing, authentic European experience. Alma rooftop restaurant served exquisite Portuguese cuisine with unforgettable sunset views. The service was attentive and genuine, and the location in Gaia is perfect. More than a hotel, it's a destination. An unforgettable experience.

Best view ever and super clean! + One of the best hotel views I've been to in a hotel that is considered "affordable luxury." The view from my balcony was absolutely beautiful. I highly advise paying a fee (I paid $40 per night) to secure in advance a balcony river view room as there are only a limited amount of rooms like this. Sometimes they have sales and I paid around $370 per night for my room. The room was very spacious and very clean (I have very high standards for cleanliness). The rooftop bar was gorgeous as well and I got food there. Service was nice. They let me store my luggage after checkout so I can still enjoy the city. Its about 10 min Uber to a lot of the main parts of Porto. The view is something I still think about so that's the best part of this hotel. The Spa was okay - the water was just lukewarm. It's more like an indoor pool. The breakfast was pretty good and there were many options. The waiters at breakfast were nice. I rarely write hotel reviews but just tho…
