Lovely peaceful, comfortable and relaxing hotel with lovely pool, right on the beach. Good food and great staff. + We have stayed at Club Villa before and it is a delight. Set in beautiful gardens right next to the beach with lovely comfortable rooms, great beds, really friendly and helpful staff, good food and really relaxing peaceful too. A real haven to come back to after a day out. Love the fact that the trains go right through the garden and it’s fun to wander down the railway track to other bars and beaches. Set down a quiet lane, It’s easy to get tuk-tuks right outside the door. − Nothing

Vintage Villa with great garden + The Villa has a vintage feeling and the garden is incredibly well kept. Location is great, 2 minutes from the beach. It felt like having a private resort for ourselves. Staff was really friendly and accomodating. − Nothing

Tranquil and beautiful + Set in beautiful and beautifully maintained grounds, Club Villa is a charming and comfortable place to stay. Designed by famous architect Geoffrey Bawa, the property remains true to his ideals of natural materials used simply to complement nature and include Sri Lankan culture inside and out. The staff are fantastic: very friendly and offer superb service. The food at the restaurant was excellent, so much so that we barely ventured further in the five glorious nights we stayed there.

As a last stop in Sri Lanka we found Club Villa to be the perfect spot. Villages close &easy accessibility to other + The gardens were exceptionally well kept. The staff were always polite & charming. Always helpful & would do everything with grace & a genuine desire to please. I couldn’t have been more delighted. − Nothing really. Our room was a little small & we had no view of the gardens, but comfortable & well kept.
