Great stay, would highly recommend ❤️ + Very clean and comfortable. Nice touches (wine and welcoming note) & free wine tasting & extra plush blanket. Duty manager and staff helpful and friendly. Very well thought of items in room I.e. vanity mirror and tea lights. Good breakfast. Lovely relaxing environment. − If you could place an anti-slip mat under the bedside mats that would be fabulous.

Beautiful guest house in the winelands + Well appointed room, beautiful location. We stayed here because we were attending a wedding in the area, and it was very convenient. They have a lovely communal lounge where you can warm up meals, make tea/coffee or just sit and relax. We stayed during the Football World Cup, and were able to watch the match in the lounge when we arrived back in the evening. They served a great breakfast; very pleasant staff in the breakfast room. − We had arranged to check in at 13h00, one hour earlier than the stated check in time, due to the wedding we were attending. I had the confirmation in writing. On the morning of our stay the guest house messaged to say that check in was at 14h00. I replied to explain about my arrangement, only to be told that check in was only from 14h00. We arrived at 14h10, went to check in, and to our surprise, our check in forms had 'ETA 1 PM' written on them!! Maybe my own fault for not CONFIRMING prior, but the stay didn't st…

+ Nothing! We checked out a day early − A rather big disappointment when arriving at the hotel. The rooms and facilities was ok, but nothing wow. The hotel requires a serious upgrade. From broken bedside lamp, broken hairdryer (yellow from age - just remove it) cracked toilet seat, towels and bathroom mat in dire need of replacement. The duvet is rather thin and I got very cold. Turning on the aircon, but then it couldn't turn off again so I slept with the aircon the whole night at 30 degrees. It looks great from the outside, but the rooms really disappointing. I just wish management/owners will sleep in the rooms once in a while to see what requires updating and changing

Great place to spend a couple days + Amazing wine estate close to Stellenbosch. The breakfast was superb. The complimentary wine we received was delicious. We would come back here easily. − The free wine tasting was a "below the expected" experience, maybe because all the rest was really good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the low tariff for what we enjoyed. + The breakfast was superb. We enjoyed the fresh fruits and the options of food. Food was well presented and a great variety. A lovely gesture which we appreciated was the free wine tasting and the bottle of wine with which we were gifted. The close proximity to other wine estates was also so handy. − We were very happy but would have enjoyed a few rusks with our morning coffee.
