Excellent Family Resort with an Unbeatable Location + We just returned from a week at Reef Coco Beach as a family of six (four kids and two adults), staying in two rooms. We specifically chose this resort because of its location and family-friendly atmosphere, and overall we had a fantastic vacation. No resort is perfect, but I hope this review helps future guests know what to expect. Rooms The hotel had no problem accommodating our room arrangement (adults in one room, kids in the other), which was appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Each room had two double beds, although we found the beds a little on the small side and the pillows weren't the most comfortable. The mini fridge stocked with soft drinks was a nice convenience, even though it wasn't refilled every day. Very Bad Experience + The beds in my room squeaked and creaked horribly; I couldn't move or get up without disturbing everyone else. Upon arrival, I found out that the Japanese restaurant and one of the bars were not included (apparently, I paid for an "all-inclusive" where not everything is included). Access to that bar and restaurant is sold separately—I've never experienced anything like this at any all-inclusive before. The mini-fridge in the room is only stocked with drinks when you check in; nothing is added for the rest of the stay. I asked at reception and was told it's only complimentary once (at other resorts I've stayed at, they restock the mini-bar daily). I wanted to order a pizza at the pool snack bar to take to my daughter in the room, but the cook told me NO, that I had to sit at the tables, order from the waiter, and eat the pizza right there, because taking food to the room isn't allowed. I've never had restrictions like that imposed on me at any other resort. Th…

+ En general el hotel supera por mucho las expectativas que te puede llegar a dar en fotos. La relación precio servicio o precio instalaciones esta muy desfasada. El trato la amabilidad del personal en general. En particular la atención de el buen Boris. Que conozco desde 2019. Es única,una persona que se superó de manera sorprendente. Que ha hecho de ese hotel Una estancia que ninguno de los hoteles como el sandos el vidanta a los cuales he tenido la oportunidad de ir. Y ver sus eventos como el circo en el vidanta o los show de 40 minutos del sandos y que todos acaba a las 11 pm. En este lugar un show diferente cada día. Y de primer nivel. Comparto fotos y ojo nadie me paga por hacer propaganda ni mucho menos me nace reconocer la labor de cada persona. Super super recomendable. − Todo me gusto solo un detalle las almohadas están super duras solo ese detalle cambiemos esas almohadas.

Mixed experience - enjoyable holiday but not a 4 star hotel! + I recently stayed at this hotel with my 8-year-old daughter as a single parent. Overall, we had some enjoyable moments and there were definitely positives to our stay, but unfortunately there were also several issues that left me feeling that this property is closer to a 3-star than a 4-star hotel. On arrival, the first thing I noticed was the car park directly opposite reception, which was also being used as a dumping/storage area with diggers and other equipment. It was quite an eyesore and not the first impression I would expect from a 4-star property. The check-in itself was smooth, and I have to say the reception staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. The bellboy also helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room, which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, the room was where our biggest problems started. Decent Hotel + This is a small property, but the staff is excellent, and the beach is beautiful, with the exception of the brown seaweed that covers much of the water in August. The biggest downside was the food. The dinner restaurants were great, but the poolside lunch options and buffets were subpar. The wait staff, however, was excellent. One thing to be aware of is that the Japanese restaurant is not included in the all-inclusive package. Apparently, there are different levels of all-inclusive packages, which we were unaware of when booking. Access to the Japanese restaurant required an upgrade, a $35-per-person, per-day additional charge, or attending a timeshare presentation. Overall, this is a decent hotel, especially if you don’t mind going elsewhere for food. You’re also very close to 5th Avenue, which has plenty of excellent restaurants. Based on my experience, I would recommend skipping the all-inclusive package and eating out instead.

Excellent restaurant service + The whole experience was great especially coming back here as a member of LVC. We enjoyed samurai restaurant because of Brenda and Francisco. Excellent service for both. They keep the energy alive and very helpful.
