„Eine charmante Villa mit viel Potenzial, die durch fehlende Basics und ein schwaches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider + Das Personal − Villa Tea Fields Wir (Ehepaar 55+, begeisterte Reisende) verbrachten zwei Nächte in der Villa, die ca. 15 Minuten per TukTuk vom Stadtzentrum entfernt liegt. Das Gebäude ist anmutig, die große Terrasse mit Blick auf Teefelder und umliegende Häuschen lädt zum Verweilen ein. Leider entsprach die Realität nicht ganz den Fotos auf Booking.com – eine Erfahrung, die wir auf unserer Rundreise öfter machen mussten. Jede Ebene des Hauses verfügt über einen Gemeinschaftsbereich: unten die Lobby mit Sitzgelegenheiten und Frühstückstisch, in der Mitte ein Billardtisch. Wer gerne lange schläft, sollte eines der oberen Zimmer wählen – die Geräusche aus der Küche sind in den unteren Zimmern gut zu hören. Der Fokus liegt klar auf den großzügigen, renovierten Badezimmern der oberen Etagen mit Badewanne – für alle, die dieses Erlebnis suchen, sicherlich ein Highlight.…

+ The house overlooks beautiful tea fields, and I loved being able to walk among them whenever I wanted. The surroundings are peaceful and very quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, with soft linens, a cozy blanket, and a great pillow. The nights were cool enough that air conditioning wasn’t necessary, which made sleeping even more pleasant. I had an excellent night’s sleep. The breakfast was delicious, and above all, the staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming. − /

Nos encantó + El alojamiento es hermoso. Esta situado en un paisaje muy bonito, el chico del hotel nos ayudó en todo, a pedir la cena, nos preparó té por la tarde y nos lo subió a la terraza para que viéramos las vistas. También nos adelantó la hora del desayuno, ya que al día siguiente nos íbamos muy temprano. Estábamos de luna de miel y nos dejó chocolates en la habitación con pétalos de flores y nos regaló dos cajitas de té antes de irnos. Es el hospedaje que más nos ha gustado en nuestra estancia en Sri Lanka, la habitación perfecta, el desayuno es súper espléndido. Los chicos que trabajan aquí son encantadores, un 10.

+ We had such a lovely stay here. The rooms are very large and the bath had such a beautiful view of the grounds. The beds were also very comfortable and the staff were very kind and helpful and even packed breakfast for us for an early morning hike. Its slightly out of the main area so nice and peaceful but a short 10 minute tuk tuk into the main area. We would stay here again.

Exceptional friendly service + Very friendly and helpful staff. They arranged TukTuk transport and a guided tour of the adjacent tea plantation. Comfortable siting room for relaxing. Very nice breakfast. − We could only stay one night.
