+ We loved our stay in The Theva Residency. The staff was very helpful, they upgrated our room for our honeymoon which was very kind of them. The facility is spotless clean. The pool was amazing, we had some monkey guests which was a great experience for us. The restaurant was amazing, all the dishes we tried we loved. And special thanks to Deepika 🙏 She helped us a lot about the hotel and also she helped us to understand the culture of this beautiful country 😊 Would definetly recommend this hotel to everybody

Peaceful retreat with fantastic food + We very much enjoyed our stay at Theva, away from the noise and busyness of Kandy. The views are beautiful and the hospitality faultless. The team were prepared to go the extra mile to ensure we had a comfortable and peaceful stay. The highlight was the food - exceptionally prepared with bags of flavour (some of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). Vishante stood out as a total star - professional, thoughtful and kind. The hotel is not a luxury hotel and could do with some renovations but I appreciate that is costly especially in a challenging geopolitical climate.

Deeeeelicious + We had the most amazing evening at Theva. After a disappointing start to our evening in Kandy, Theva completely exceeded our expectations and turned it into a truly memorable experience. The food was exceptional — without doubt the best meal we have had so far in Sri Lanka. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavour and clearly made with great care. A special mention has to go to the cauliflower dish — it was absolutely incredible and something we would highly recommend everyone tries! The setting is beautiful, but what really made the evening special was the incredible team. The service was outstanding, and a special thank you to the wonderful manager, Wasantha, who went above and beyond to make us feel so welcome and looked after. His warmth, kindness and attention to detail truly made a difference. We were visiting as a family with our 8-year-old daughter and everyone made us feel completely comfortable and included. It was the perfect balance of luxury…

Great view, amazing staff and well worth staying here + Great view both from the room, the restaurant and the pool. We also very much enjoyed the room itself, which was cozy and had close access to everything. The staff was some of the kindest, helpful and most attentive we’ve experienced on our trip and we felt genuinely welcome here. − It’s not the easiest place to access, but luckily, we had a driver, which made it easy to get there

Top Hotel / Top Lage / Top Personal besser geht nicht + Diese Unterkunft war der Wahnsinn. Super freundlicher Empfang. Bekamen für alle spontan ein Zimmer upgrade. Essen war wunderbar. Haben auch zu Abendgegessen alles wurde uns von den Lippen abgelesen. − Das wir nur eine Nacht geblieben sind. Ansonsten gab es nichts negatives

Standing appréciable calme et confort + Une très belle expérience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nous tenions à féliciter le gérant ainsi que toute son équipe pour leur professionnalisme, leur réactivité et leur disponibilité. Le service est véritablement haut de gamme, avec une équipe très serviable et attentive aux besoins de ses clients. Nous n’avons malheureusement pas eu le temps de profiter de la piscine, mais nous avons particulièrement apprécié le déjeuner, qui était à la fois très copieux et savoureux. Mention spéciale également pour la literie, particulièrement confortable, qui nous a permis de passer une excellente nuit. La chambre offre par ailleurs une très jolie vue sur la végétation environnante, dans un cadre vraiment paisible. L’établissement est également très calme, ce qui était parfait pour nous après plusieurs journées de voyage. Une excellente adresse, avec un service irréprochable. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ! 🇱🇰✨
