bequeme Unterkunft am See mit viel Ruhe + Wir haben das Frühstück ganz unkompliziert buchen können, der Frühstücksraum hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See, es ist ganz ruhig und man kann sofort durchatmen und sich zurück lehnen. Da der nächste Supermarkt zu Fuß zu weit war, haben wir die Chance genutzt, dass wir so unkompliziert vor Ort frühstücken konnten. Die Zimmer sind groß genug und die Betten bequem. Das Bad hat alles, was man so braucht, ist aber wirklich einfach gehalten, die Nasszelle nur rein gestellt. Landschaftlich ist es jedenfalls wunderschön. Parkplatz vor dem Haus und die Gastgeber sehr nett. Zum Einchecken haben wir nur eine Zeit angegeben, wir konnten unsere Schlüssel ganz unkompliziert an der Rezeption abholen (wir kamen erst recht spät an).

+ The service of the staff there are all very good and responsive. They are super friendly and their two dogs as well. The hot bath outside the house is also perfect. − The house was not yet cleaned up when arrived but the staff works efficiently and cleaned up in short time.

Great place to see the highlights in North Iceland + We had a room and used the shared kitchen. Kitchen has everything you need. Don't forget to bring your own oil if you want to fry in a pan. We would come back

A frustrating and unsafe stay with non-functional locks and missing amenities. − The property is significantly overpriced for such a cramped space, and multiple basic amenities failed during our visit. First, the advertised Wi-Fi did not work for the entirety of our two-day stay. Management offered a meager 15% discount for the major inconvenience and flatly rejected our counteroffer of 30%. On top of that, the kitchen lights were malfunctioning. Most critically, the door could not be locked from either the inside or outside, posing a severe safety hazard. When we raised this concern, staff dismissed it by claiming that "people in Iceland don't lock their doors." This level of service and disregard for basic guest safety is unacceptable.
